(Alarm clock rings)

Haku wakes up.

*Yawns* I woke up late? (Checks the clock) Shoot! I'm 5 minutes late!

I jumped out of bed, dressed and gobbled my mom's cooked breakfast. I have to rush into the school before the guards close the school's entrance.

I don't want to be late. It was my first day at my new school.

"Hey Shirou! Don't rush that food you're chewing while on the run or you will get a stomach ache." Mom yelled. "Ok mom!" I replied. Still, I stuffed the food in my mouth.

"Bye!"  I answered back and left in a hurry.

I hurriedly went to the jeepney terminal to get a ride to my new school. I sighed with relief when I managed to reach the school entrance on time before its gates closed. I almost got lost because I wasn't familiar with this place.

On the way to find my classroom, I ran into a familiar face, Chisato.

"Hi there Akane, long time no see." Chisato smiled and began asking questions. I politely replied, "I know you have many questions about me but can I ask first where is the classroom of Section Enterprise, I'm late?". "I am the student council president here, come with me and I will show you to our classroom." Chisato said

"Wait, we're classmates?" I asked Chisato

"Yes and please no more chit-chat or else we might get very late." Chisato said

We hurried to get to the door of our classroom, and Chisato approached the teacher.

"Prof Juan, this is the newly transferred student named Haku Mikazuki."

"Oh, he is quite an energetic kid there." Prof Juan said

"Now class, I will introduce you to your new classmate, Mikazuki Haku.

Mr. Mikazuki, please introduce yourself in front of the class." Prof Juan said.

"So as Prof Juan said, my name is Haku Mikazuki, you all can call me Shirou. Hope we all get along in this class."

"Now Haku, please sit in the empty seat beside Chisato." Prof Juan said

"Why Haku sits beside me? Since you knew that we are childhood friends?" Chisato blushed. 

"Because that is the only seat available?" Prof Juan said

"Oh ok, I won't complain anymore." Chisato grunts

Chisato was my childhood friend and we haven't seen each other in ages. Having known that she is also the Class Representative and the Student Council President here, makes me proud that I know her.

I sat and the class went on normally. While in the class, Chisato asked me if I wanted to join her and have lunch together at the cafeteria since she wanted to talk some more and I readily agreed.

During lunch break, I took out the food my mom prepared and shared with Chisato.

While eating, "So, why are you here in this school Shirou?" Chisato asked.

"I don't know, I just felt like I no longer wanted to stay in my old school and wanted to start anew. I didn't expect that you would be here studying too."

"So it's all just coincidence?" Chisato wonders

"I guess so." I replied.

While we were chatting and eating lunch, I noticed some boys from another section looked at us and sneered. "Those are bullies from section Langley, they act like some kind of badass and arrogant." Says Chisato.

They approached our table and one of the guys said

"So, you're the new dog of the Student Council President huh?"

"Huh, I don't know what you are talking about." I replied

One of them came near the table and hit me on the head and said, Stupid dog, (fake barking) and they all laughed.

"Please stop this nonsense Section Langley, Shirou is a new student and doesn't have to be dragged on your issues." Chisato said

What are you going to do? Hide under the skirt of the Council President? The bullies laughed again.

"Please stop or I will report you and you all will be sent to detention. Chisato replied

"You are very lucky, wimp. Ms. Nisshoku saved you here.' The bullies said

"I didn't need her help, stupid." Haku retorted

Angered, one of the bullies said to Haku, "If you are brave enough, we will wait for you at the rooftop after class. If you prove you're not a wimp, I won't bother you again." The bullies said

"Fine by me." I replied

The bullies left the cafeteria.

"Why did you accept it?" Chisato asked

"So, they won't bother us anymore."

Someone in a hoodie approached Haku and gave him a warning.

"I must warn you that those guys from section Langley fights dirty, they always gang up and use weapons. I will help you." The guy said

The guy removes his hoodie and he introduces himself as Kenji Yaiba from section Enterprise, the Club Master of the Sword Club.

"I'm going to help you beat those guys after class." Kenji said

"Thanks Kenji and can I ask you one more thing?" I asked him

"What is it?" Kenji replied

"Can you be my friend Kenji?"

"Yea, sure." Kenji answered

The bell rang and we all came back to our classroom.

"Goodluck on your fight Shirou". Chisato said

"Thanks."

And the class started.

Hours have passed, the class has ended and Haku along with Kenji is going to the rooftop to face the bullies.

While walking into the stairs, Kenji asked Haku if he knew how to fight.

"I only know a little." I replied

"Well, good luck facing those goons." Kenji said

Now we entered the rooftop where the Langley bastards were waiting.

"You two idiots fall into my trap; NOW KILL THEM BOTH!"

Now Kenji reveals he was concealing a wooden sword earlier.

The Bullies are targeting Haku instead of Kenji and that ends with Haku being beaten up but he can still stand.

"Can you still fight?" Kenji asked

"Yea, I still can fight them."

Moment's later, the whole student council arrives to stop these Section Langley bastards.

"Ms. Nisshoku Chisato, can you handle this situation?" Kenji asked

Haku collapsed and he was transported to the clinic to treat his bruises.

While the Section Langley goons are suspended in this school for 3 months.

And Haku made a friend on this day.

Chisato and Kenji go to the clinic to find Haku.

"Hey Shirou, are you alright?" Chisato asks while in tears

"Yes Chisato- I mean Ms. President, I'm alright, please don't cry, it makes me sad."

"Look, I'm fine, right? I can walk home right now."

"Can I visit your house after this Shirou?" Chisato asked

"Can I tag along too?" Kenji Asked.

"Sure, Let's call it a day and go home."

And we rode a jeepney home.

"Mom, I'm home!"

"Oh Shirou, welcome- oh my, what happened to you?" Mom is shocked

"I just got into a fight on my first day."

"How pitiful, but It seems your bruises are treated."

"Anyways, who are these people?" Mom asked

"Mom, this man is Kenji who is my first friend here and this girl is Chisato."

"Oh Chisato, you've grown into a fine, beautiful lady, please support my little Haku and hello to you Kenji, I see, you helped my son in that fight, thank you for that."

"And also, perfect timing, I cooked adobo for dinner."

"Wow! Auntie Zephyr's Adobo! How I missed them." Chisato said

"Adobo, one of my favorite dishes, homemade is more delicious. Can I try some?" Kenji said

"Sure guys, eat all you can! Don't even hesitate if you want more." Mom said

"Auntie Zephyr's adobo is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten!" Chisato said

"Me too!" Kenji said

Mom's cooking never fails to impress everyone.

"Speaking of my mom's adobo, Kenji, can you teach me swordsmanship?" I asked

"Is that so? Then prepare yourself tomorrow." Kenji said

"Thanks Kenji!"

"No Problem." Kenji replied

"Thanks for the meal!" Chisato and Kenji said

"We will be leaving Mrs. Mikazuki, thanks for the food." Kenji said

"No problem. Make sure be safe while traveling" Mom said

"So, this Kenji guy you just befriended, he must be very friendly and reliable." Mom said

"Yea mom, he single-handedly beat a group earlier."

"Oh, you must get yourself a good friend here."

"I wish you good luck in the future and go to sleep after washing the dishes." Mom said
