The Price of Pride (Part 4)

• People were horrified

and prayed for the family who had died.

They were angry at Ravi who had lied

About the durability of the mansion- so he was caught up and tied

• He was later beaten and was imprisoned

With guilt, his eyes glistened

He saw love towards his parents and job arisen

And soon had a vision

• The baby girl of the family who died

Smiled at him with tear strained eyes and waved

With a jerk, he woke and repented for the way he had behaved

And hung his head ashamed

• The next day, he was hanged

But all the time he only smiled

His mistake he had realised

And thus was ready to embrace death
