Book 1 - Chapter 6: The First User

After checking all the details of the world within the bracelet, Eric waited until evening, before sleep, to activate the bracelet again and go inside the world, and, since he has excess energy stones to waste, he should test it himself for 12 hours, and that's 2 low grade energy stones requirement to experience the world he created.

As per the system's rule, 2 low-grade energy stones were equal to 12 hours in real-time, and since the time within the world was 1 hour: 15 days, it means that his 12 hours in real-time would be 180 days within the world. For that, he must prepare himself. Although his real body will not be transferred within the world, only his mental psyche, the experience would be a long one. So, he waited until evening, his sleeping time to start experiencing his created world.

Evening came and Eric was all ready to dive in the world he made. As soon as the maid left his room, he laid down and pulled his right hand, then, tapped the bracelet, and, selected the monster island world.

[DING]

[HOST SELECTED 'MONSTER ISLAND' WORLD, PROCEED?]

[YES/NO]

Eric chose "yes".

[CONFIRMED]

[PLEASE INPUT THE NUMBER OF ENERGY STONES TO USE]

[ENERGY STONE: __ LOW GRADE]

Eric tapped the blank and a keypad appeared, he tapped the "2".

[HOST SELECTED 2 LOW-GRADE ENERGY STONES]

[PROCEED?]

[YES/NO]

Eric chose "yes".

As soon as he tapped the "yes", his mind quickly went dark, and then light instantly appeared and his surrounding changed into a city location. This city has a large stone castle within and the whole location was entrapped with 4 stone walls as well. Just like what he designed, quite large and suited for 1,000 people.

Eric looked around and unknowingly, a guard closed in on him behind and tapped his shoulder. Eric looked back and saw a well-armored guard. "NPC!" He uttered. He knew that there would be NPC on each world that he'll create to make it more realistic to users but the he was still surprised by this and amazed on what the system could do.

"Are you new here?" The NPC guard asked.

"Yes. Sir, can you tell me what is this place?" Eric answered and asked back.

"Oh, then this place is the only location where humanity stood still… blah blah blah.." the guard spoke the lore of the island Eric created and the details he input before processing the world, so, he already knew everything the guard said.

After a few minutes of talking, the guard finished his introductions and guided Eric towards the registration hut where Eric registered himself as a citizen of this place and then was told that his mission was to guard the last pillar of humanity against the monsters outside the walls.

Right there, he was asked to wear armor and asked to select his weapon. Eric chose a sword, despite not being trained in it, and then followed the guard towards the castle's gate.

As soon as he stepped outside the walls, he quickly felt the massive energy flowing in the air. Eric knew that these massive energy flows were not only from the atmosphere but also came from the monsters that would be attacking the castle. After a few more steps, he saw the flatlands in front of him. No grass, only soil from his location onward.

[DING]

A notification sound rang to his ears.

[WELCOME USER TO THE MONSTER ISLAND WORLD!]

[THE FIRST WAVE WILL START IN 00:00:15]

[DURATION: 15 DAYS]

[PLEASE STANDBY]

[10… 9… 8… 7…]

Eric heard the countdown, although he created this world, he was still nervous about what will happen to him and so, he tried to feel every noise and movement around him.

[3… 2… 1… START!]

[MORTAL WAVE INCOMING]

As soon as the notification was finished, he felt the ground shake and as he looked into the distance, he saw massive numbers of different monsters rushing towards his location.

With the massive numbers of monsters, Eric, felt nervousness as well as excitement, despite not having learned swordsmanship, he grabbed the hilt of his sword tightly and rushed forward with a battle cry.

"Rrrraaaahhhh!!!!" Eric shouted.

The first blood has been initiated.
