Oh Great Now The Military Hate Me

After William had finished speaking the same bunch of high ranking officers from before all walked up to him, except the Policewoman and Bear were not with them. Apart from that the only thing that had changed was that the cocky officer from before was visibly shaking with anger but didn't say anything when everyone else started talking to William.

"So whats this about getting us out of here? If you haven't forgotten, there's an entire army out there...maybe even 2 if what you're saying is right. So how in gods name are we gonna get out of here, and your little "fight" with that zombie has probably reminded a few zombies that we are still here. So unless you have some 'amazing' plan up your sleeve I suggest that you shut up and let the grown ups handle this, all you've done so far is make this worse for us all."

As soon as he had finished his speech about how rubbish William was...someone, we don't know who because just as he finished the lights went out, may or may not have sucker punched him in the jaw. Possibly almost breaking it as it was loose from speaking (unclentched jaw can easily be broken) but sadly no one saw who did it.

A few seconds after the lights went out tye panic began, even though everyone there except William was either in the military or the police force. When the light go out during a zombie apocalypse people get scared that ain't surprising, however after another few seconds flashlights started turning on and lighting the warehouse back up. Apart from some people having moved, the only change from before the lights went out...was the officer on the floor clutching his jaw, everyone then looked at where William last was but he had dissappeared. They found him a few feet away petting and playing with Bear again, much to the amusement of the Policewoman. They immediately started berating him about how DARE he hit him and that if they weren't in an apocalypse he would be arrested straight away, at first William had a wtf look on his face but once he noticed the officer on the ground he realised what everyone was on about. He actually wasn't the one who punched the officer, as while he listened to the rant he noticed Bear and the Policewoman were nearby so as soon as the lights went out he went over to them.

Except when he tried to explain all this to them, the only person who believed him was the Policewoman cause she knew that he came straight over to them. Now fair enough to the soldiers and the officers like, why would another soldier or police officer punch someone high up in the military, but William already had shown that he didn't care much for them and he was very close to the punched officer. So it isn't actually that surprising that they didn't believe him...but he didn't care it still pissed him off that they basically didn't care about what he said, he then walked over to the Policewoman and started whispering in her ear for about 30 seconds before he turned back to all the soldiers and police officers.

"It has come to my attention that some people here seem to dislike me, so in retaliation I have decided that everyone here gets a choice. They can either go eith me outside right now, and I promise you that I can get you all our of here without anymore dying, or you can stay here and wait for something else to happen i guess. I'll wait 5 minutes so that everyone can make up their minds before I head out, even if i have to go on my own whether you join me or not is all up to you now."

This obviously caused a commotion within the small groups of people as they knew that William had managed to find them while all the military had done was to tell them to sit and wait for who knows what, but at the same time most of them were apart of the military so if they left with William that would be it no going back if something went wrong. For the police it was a different story, it was the military's fault that they were stuck here as they were told that they had to help check out the warehouse. And unlike the military who just sat and told then nothing except to just wait it out, so most of them had already decided to go with William except a few individuals. As they all decided to walk over to where William was standing, one or two soldiers also walked over to them, the rest of the soldiers erupted in uproar at this until a few more soldiers decided to join them. This immediately silenced the rest of the soldiers as some of the best of the batch had already left, making some people realise just how serious this was but nobody else stepped forward.

William is sitting against the wall closest to the door watching all this play out, he was sitting beside the Policewoman and Bear talking to her while petting and playing with Bear.

He learnt a lot about her during this time, like how her name is Chloe Maggie, she wanted to do a degree in animation but a childhood trauma involving her brother ultimately changed her mind so she went down the police career path. She and Bear have been together since he was only one year old and she trained him and has been his only handler during his time as a police dog. At first she was glad that she was trapped with the military but as time went on she soon realised that they wouldn't be getting out if nothing changed which is when she suggested using Bear to find someone. After the 5 minutes had past most of the police had sided with William all except for 1 or 2 who stayed with the military, even a few of the soldiers had decided to join him instead of staying. Most of the officers didn't really care about the police leaving as they didn't think it was important to keep them, one of the officers glanced around at everyone who had stayed and then started walking over towards the leaving group. Everyone was shocked at this, even William as he hadn't noticed the officer when they all talked to him, most of the officers glanced at him leaving but they didn't try to stop him or even say anything about him.

William went over to him and started talking to him and asking why he decided to join them when he's an officer, and why no one had tried to stop him or even seemed to really care when he decided to leave them. Sadly the officer didn't say much, just that nobody in the military that was in the warehouse liked him as it was his fault that they were in the warehouse. He also said that he decided to go with William as he decided that William would actually be able to get them out of the situation while all the military wanted to do was sit and wait for something to happen even though he had already managed to make his way in and said that he could get them all out, why should the military shooting themselves in the foot affect him if he could just go with William. By this point slightly over 100 people had decided to go with William instead of trusting the military, seeing this William has quite happy as he only expected 50 or so to actually follow him and ditch the rest of the survivors. He picked up his axe again and walked to where everyone else had gathered and told them his brilliant plan.

"Once we go outside these doors all you guys need to do is follow me and don't fall behind, I can't save your sorry asses if you are to slow so don't be. Now before you start and uproar just listen to me, there's maybe 150 zombies out there as the fight is already over. All we need to do is get past them and that hopefully won't be too hard especially if I can come up with some sort of distraction to give us a few extra seconds before they start chasing us."

Nobody said anything as they were all stunned, this was the plan? Just do a Joseph Jostar and use their legs to get out of danger, not some diabolical plan to unleash death and dispare on the zombies. William didn't even give them a chance to argue with him as he took off running towards the door and motioned over his shoulder for them to follow him, they all followed him although a few more reluctantly than the rest and they all quickly made it to the doors. They had already been opened by the time they got there and William had once again started running towards where the now smaller, hoard of zombies was wandering around. If anyone saw William when he was running to the warehouse before and him running now they would definitely see that he had slowed down quite a bit as his legs were genuinely starting to burn with all the exercise he had done in the past few days and how little rest he had gotten. As everyone else streamed out through the doors the zombies noticed them and charged towards them but before they got close to anyone William had grabbed one and thrown it into the warehouse behind the last person who had decided to follow him. The affect was almost immediate, all the zombies stopped for a few seconds then bolted towards the warehouse leaving them to carry on their escape unharmed. No one decided to question William on what he had done as they didn't know about the hive minded skill the zombies had acquired throughout the past few days, a few people were slightly slower than everyone else but not enough to put them in danger or get left behind they were just slightly behind the rest of the group.

William took them all the way to one of the main roads before telling them all that they were free to go do whatever they wanted now and they didn't have to follow him anymore. Most of the people left to probably try and find relatives or family members, or maybe just get supplies to survive the next few days, but a few stayed near the area and started to make small groups with whoever would join. The mystery man, Chloe and Bear also stayed but instead of joining a group they stayed near William and waited to see what he would do or where he would go. He noticed this but didn't say anything as he had pretty much expected it to happen and was fine with it, but he didn't want to leave and head back to the rest until he made sure everyone else had left and wouldn't try to follow him, as a few people in the small groups kept glancing at him and also wouldn't leave or move too far away from him...
