Chapter 42:To the journey.

'To lift the words

That devil sent

You must compel

And overcome

4 different blood

Must flow on you

Remember one

Shall you complete

To place of death

Your path should lay

And moon shall bean

Like sun at day

As magic curse

This was the only clue that August discovered during his search for the release of the curse and he will have to try it. But according to the words of this text, states, he will have to get the blood of 4, which probably is 4 different races.

Other than this, there should be white night time and he should be in the graveyard or necropolis, there is no way of telling which one is right one.

As the sun showed behind the horizon, as first beams of light were touching the ground, reflecting small droplets of water that condensed on the grass. Everything was enveloped in the silence. Only the rare cheers of birds were echoing around.

One lonely man made his way through the gates of the temple. Nothing but his bag and a wolf were along his side. His figure gave a vast shadow behind, making him look significant and powerful.

August woke up very early to leave first and don't be involved in the drama that could take place when everyone will say their last words. He packed his stuff in his bag and made his way out of the temple.

Everything was enveloped in the ghostly silence, his steps that almost made no sounds could be clearly heard in such an atmosphere. His eyes looked in the distance, wondering what awaits him.

However, his lonely journey was not destined to stay hidden. From the corner walked a young man, looking quite sad as his eyes looked towards August's eyes.

It was Albert, he knew August too well to let him go alone and don't say a final goodbye to the one that saved him once and gave him a chance to grow into the man he is.

Albert released a heavy sigh, and with heavy eyes, he said "I knew you would do that. But I could not allow you to walk away without saying last words."

August might be quite cold towards anyone, but the boy was not someone he stayed emotionless towards.

"Where will you go?" August asked nonchalantly

Albert released a dry chuckle inquiring "This is all you will ask?"

August just nodded his headed saying no words.

Albert slapped a hand against his forehead, saying "It does look like you. Nevermind" he thought for a second before replying " I will go to Ban Ard Academy, I wish to learn more about magic."

August thought for a second before saying "I want you to take Hans along"

This made Albert confused "Why"

"He is an old wolf, I don't think he will live long enough without magic" replied August

Albert rose his brows saying "So, You want me to take him and prolong his life?"

August nodded in response

"Are you sure?" inquired Albert

"Yes" Answered August

With a sigh Albert walked towards the wolf and patted his head, receiving a tail that turned into a windmill almost instantly.

"Where are you going?" Asked Albert

August shrugged replying "I'm not sure yet but for now Mahakam"

"Where exactly?" asked Albert

"Carbon" replied August

Albert stood up and walked towards August, embracing him in a tight hug, whispering "Whatever you say about it or dislike it I will say it. Thanks for being a father figure to me, I love you August, please be safe I'm not ready to lose another one I value"

August showed a small smirk answering a hug with a tight embrace.

"You too, kid, I will see you in the future," said August releasing Albert

August walked towards Hans and kneel in front of him, stroking his head

"Be sure to behave, Hans, and be a good boy, okay?" said August

*Woof*

August stood up and walked in the direction of the forest, without turning back.

Albert looked at the figure of August that was getting further and further.

"Brother! Thanks for being there for me!" shouted Albert

August just raised his hand not turning around and waved his hand slowly reaching the path that lead to the forest.

Small Author note, I think adding a wolf is a mistake for August, I know that some of you like to have pets, but it is hard to implement at this stage in the novel. He might return at a later date.

This is a short chapter I know, but it is like the last chapter of the arc before August goes on his journey, I wanted to separate it from the things that will be his journey.

Anyway, there will be another chapter today, so don't be sad that this one was short.
