CHAPTER 20

Tony entered the large Director's office with a handful of files in his hands. He was in a good mood, especially since he had completed the high-stakes assignment that his boss had assigned to him.

It had taken him a month to gather all of the information he could on the target using his resources. He had to move slowly and spend a lot of money because it was a low-profile assignment that didn't require a lot of attention.

He was incredibly happy for someone who had only been a Special Assistant to the Director for less than a year. It was especially difficult to advance in large corporations, but because of his quick wits, he was able to get what others could not.

"I can tell something good happened; do you mind sharing?" asked his young boss as he approached the mahogany desk.

"There is good news, this is the file you asked me to prepare last time," Tony said as he handed the file over to the boss.
