MEETING ROOM

"Thank you so much for attending, chairman Remus."

Felix pulled a seat for the lady and then he sat next to her. The food was already served, but Devyn had no appetite to eat a lot today. She's feeling sleepy and sluggish after taking the medicine.

"Why so formal?" Conor Remus, Felix's father smiled at her. "I told you to just call me uncle." He lifted a glass and a wine.

"Father, it's too early for alcohol." Felix immediately cut the old man off, getting the bottle of wine from his grasp.

Conor sulked at his son. "Come on, just give your papa one glass. I won't ask for more. What's the fun of eating without alcohol?"

Felix shook his head. "No, alcohol is bad. Your doctor already told you that."

Conor rubbed the back of his head, still wanting to pursue but his son won't let him for sure. Felix didn't want him to get drunk because the thing Devyn was going to say today is important, so his son wanted him to listen.
