Childhood Past I
Suddenly, a memory from her childhood flashed back in her mind.
"It seems like the young miss is quiet today." Veronica, who's holding her hand said. She roamed her eyes around. "It's your first time in the Arnoux mansion, right?"
The little girl nodded, tightening her grip to that hand. Her father told them to wait here in the back garden. Of course, because older people will talk about business. Even if she didn't want to admit it, this back garden is larger than theirs. Compared to their greenhouse, this one was an open land filled with trees and different kinds of flowers.
The grassland rustled along with the afternoon air. Devyn really didn't have much knowledge when it comes to plants, but seeing this place clean and green, she can't deny that she likes to be here.
It's always the Arnoux Clan who's visiting them, and she really didn't care about that. However, this afternoon, she insisted that she wanted to go with her father.
