When he came back to the office, Devyn was talking on the phone. He slowly closed the door and headed quietly to his desk.
There's this awkward feeling clouding inside him after signing the contract last night. Kiel didn't know, but he suddenly felt a little tight inside his chest. He put his gaze back on the laptop screen while checking his emails.
He didn't disturb the lady until she finished the call.
Devyn was the first one who called him towards her desk. She said that Kiel has no more things to do today. She especially picked this day for everyone to celebrate the company's anniversary.
"Mr Kiel, would you mind sending the upper directors the email I sent you?" she said, scrolling through her phone.
"Right away, president." He replied, checking it immediately and taking action.
