I jump off the bed and Gyles is staring at me with a smile on his face. His eyes are wide open. It almost seems like he didn't sleep a wink last night. I get that he is a vampire and he doesn't need sleep but he is part wolf. So, there is a part of hum that is like me, so he should be asleep.
"What time is it?'' I reach for my phone and there are a bunch of messages from blue. Ignoring his calls is not the best thing but I want him to be surprised when he sees us. I want that part of him that thought that he wasn't going to see us for a couple of weeks to be excited. I want to make him happy and now that I think about it, I think he will be happy to see us. He might be angry with Gyles right now but he still loves him as much as he loves me and that will compensate for the anger that he feels.
