Can I Hug You to Sleep?
When Yun Shu came out of the bathroom, she found that Qi Zheng was sitting on the bed while playing with his phone.
The moment he heard her movement, Qi Zheng put down his phone and stared at her.
Their gazes met and the silence between them was long.
Yun Shu could feel her heartbeat accelerating as she looked at Qi Zheng. Slowly, Yun Shu walked over to the bed and stopped just before she could reach his side.
Then, Qi Zheng patted the side where she had slept earlier, motioning her to slide into bed.
Her gaze fell on the bolster pillow in the middle. But somehow, Yun Shu had the feeling that they might not need them later.
Pursing her lips, Yun Shu walked to the side and slid under the cover. She pulled the blanket until it reached her chin.
The room turned dark when Qi Zheng switched off the light.
Yun Shu stared at the ceiling, wondering how she could continue sleeping in this situation.
