What Lies Inside

(Uera's POV)

"I can see it now!"(Sinder)

Sinder said when we entered the Sacred Forest, the place where every denizens and demi-humans originally from.

"Certainly, prepare yourself now. We don't know when will show the guardians of this forest. Don't make any reckless actions like you did last time."(Aorey)

"I aye!"(Sinder)

"Leave it to us!"(Igneel)

The two of them were pretty confident in their answers, I can now rest easy.

"I'm not convinced with your answers tho."(Aorey)

"Urk.."(Sinder)

"Maa.. unlike last time, we are now aware of the situation we're in, you can say that we have grown even just a little though."(Igneel)

"Yes, yes, you're right about that. You don't need to worry, Kahahahaha!"(Sinder)

"Who told you I'm worried about you, huh?!"(Aorey)

"Nothing at all."(Sinder)

"I'm worried about Uera, since it is the first time she have been in this forest, I don't know if the guardians will accept her, though she have this Astral Eye as an evidence, I don't think she will be deemed as a danger in this forest. Well if it comes to worst, I can just do something to let her off."(Aorey)

"Umm, what is this place called? And what is this guardians you were talking about?"(Uera)

I asked her to fill my questions and concerns in regards to our current situation.

According to Aorey san, it is the place where selected individuals are permitted to enter, those who are foreign of this land were prohibited by the guardians from entering this land.

Even gods who doesn't have any permissions are also deemed as foreign individuals and is dangerous to the forest.

Because of that, guardians must possess extreme power to rival the actual god.

Guardians are the beings who are blessed by gods, they were given half of powers of the said god to fulfill their duty as guardians of their god and it's subjects.

"There's so many guardians in this forest, you can rest easy if you think those gods in the current war were to come here and kill you."(Aorey)

Hearing those words made me feel more secure than it is, looking back at where I came from, I can finally get the hope that I looking for.

The finale of my journey is now starting to take another page, we headed right into what seems like an entrance into the big tree that can be seen all over this vast forest.

At the entrance of the big tree, there is a great gate which is guarded by two high spreegans and two holy spirits.

The gate opener the moment we landed in front of it and from the inside, a beautiful maiden showed to greet us, she was dressed in a maid outfit and is so composed and polite.

She is a high spirit in appearance of human with a slim body and an average height, a dark hair and a beautiful white eyes.

She went straight to our direction while showing her respect, after that she greeted us.

"It's been so long Aorey sama, what brings you here?"(Servant)

"Nothing in particular, it's just that this girl needs an assistance with our master. Also, it seems like it's rather quite right now, where's the others?"(Aorey)

"Unfortunately, they can't give you an audience since they have some matters to tend."(Aorey)

"What kind of matter is that? To have them occupied, not only that but most of them, it must be something out of norm."(Aorey)

"You're right, recently the some foreign were coming from the area where war takes place in hope to find some place to resides. Most of them are of fairy races, because of that the guardians are quite absorbed with the current situation."(Servant)

"This is now beyond salvation, even our master won't be at ease now that they went in this territory. Show us the way to master, I have something important to do right now."(Aorey)

"I understand, please follow me."(Servant)

After that she showed us the way through the passage to get inside.

It is so vast inside of the tree, it is even larger than the hall in the dragons place.

There's so many different races everywhere I look, it only prove that this place was the very place where all life began their first existence.

"This place really brings me back in those days."(Sinder)

"Yeah, you're right about that."(Igneel)

"Quit it, it makes me think that you two were already senile. Let's just hurry up to take this matters into actions."(Aorey)

"Hai.."(Igneel)

"Yes ma'am!"(Sinder)

We moved into what looks like a room with a white crystal in the middle which lights the entire room.

After we all entered the room, the servant went to the crystal then casted a spell.

"Come forth light of life!"(Servant)

Blinding light suddenly engulfed us after she casted her spell, due to its strong power, it made me closed my eyes and when I opened it, were already inside of a different room.

Like a holy place, it is so bright and beautiful.

There's no one inside of the room except for the throne and table in its side with some foods on it.

Later, I noticed that everyone except for me were kneeling down infront of the throne, seeing them act like this, I also imitated them immediately.

It's not that I know what is the reason why they appeared to be scared of someone, well these persons were quite strong enough to mistake them as a god, and to see them being scared like this is just unbelievable.

Someone who possess a great power than them must be the one who's sitting in that throne.

"Milady, Aorey sama is now here."(Servant)

The servant speak first but there's still no response from the throne except some small noises in the the direction of the table.

The noise stopped and after that we hear a small voice, everyone stayed in silence.

A small burp cut the silence and then followed by a small voice.

"So bothersome, I haven't finished eating yet and now there's another. What is it this time?"

"It been a while, you seem to have some fun, Syldrya sama."(Aorey)

"Wha!? It's you strick woman? What are you doing here?? Huh? Did you come to interrupt my fun life again? Did you came to steal my foods?!"(Syldrya)

"It's been so long since we last spoke like this, and to accuse me like that, it's so mean of you."(Aorey)

"Wha?! Is that so, sorry about that, I got carried away. So, what is your business? Why did you come all the way here? You can just contact me with your telepathy anytime though. And also, why did you bring some companions? As expected, you really want to steal my foods!! Then bring it on, I will show you my own new style of martial arts."(Syldrya)

What is this kind of situation I'm in right now?

And who is this small fairy?

What's this kind of scene I'm witnessing?

The serious atmosphere a while ago had completely vanished as if it didn't happened at all.

"You're completely mistaken, and there's no way you could create your own new martial arts, all you did all day was eat, sleep, and play. You left all of your responsibilities in the hands of your guardians, I really feel sorry for them."(Aorey)

"Ungh.. then tell me it is already!! Just to remind you, I won't give you any foods in this table."(Aorey)

Aorey san's eyes turned serious which made the atmosphere tense.

"About that Syldrya sama, you know for sure that the war is already in its uncontrollable state and it already expanded in this far."(Aorey)

"Yeah, even I have a hard time dealing with the victims."(Syldra)

"No, please don't put it as if you're the one dealing with the situations."(Aorey)

She let out a smug face showing the truth that she doesn't believe in Syldrya sama's statements.

"Wha? So you didn't believe me?! Fine then, what is do you want?"(Syldrya)

"It is not me who is in need, as you know, we don't have anything to do with the current war. The one who needs you is this girl, she wanted our assistance to stop the current war."(Aorey)

Without any hesitation, Aorey san told her all of my intentions, and about the secret she also revealed that I have already knew it.

I remained silent and is hoping for their answer in my favor, this is the only hope that I have, I can't let it slide.

"We can't gave her any of our assistance."(Syldrya)

My whole body trembled after hearing her response, I looked into her eyes and saw the very same image that every gods showed me.

The image of pity and hopelessness towards me, I later realized that I can't breathe properly which made the two dragons panic.

After that, I saw a gate on the top of the throne opening, there's no gate in there a while ago yet it's now opening.
