Chapter 11

It was the day the farm would be overrun by walkers. The morning went as usual, I got dressed in black long sleeve shirt, black jeans, a shoulder holster with my suppressed colt m1911 on the left side and 3 clips on the rights side, a black trench coat, and my black tactical boots. I put my glock on my right waste and 3 extra clips in my left pocket, a tactical knife in my right boot. I gave a glock 16 to both Amy and Andrea, I also gave Sam a small revolver.

Night came fast that day and walkers along with it. I killed at least 40 walkers, I used up my tomahawks and three clips of ammo for my colt. Amy and I left the farm together on my dirtbike. Andrea was leaving with Lori, Maggie, Sam, and T-dog. Glen left with Beth, Carol, and Sophia. Rick left with Carl and Hershel, Daryl left with Merle on their motorcycle. I saw the Morlalez's family die by walkers, Patrisha and John aslo died.

We all drove away from the farm and drove all night to keep the walkers off our trail. We all had a meet up spot, on the highway where we were before the farm. I drove to the meet up spot and saw Rick waiting there with Carl and Hershel. We walked over and waited with them silently, while we waited a couple walkers passed by which I quickly killed with my spear. After waiting a couple hours, our group were all here. T-dog's group was the last to arrive.

They came to me with a grim expression. Amy and I looked and we didn't see Andrea, I said, "Where's Andrea", Sam answered, "Andrea left us to help Carol and she got cornered by walkers". My brows scrunched up and tears flowed from my eyes like a river. I looked at Amy who was shocked, then I pulled her into my embrace and hugged her tight.

We stayed together for a while until she fell asleep in my arms. I put her in one of the cars, wiped my tears and talked to Rick about our next move. We got off the highway and made a temporary camp in the woods. We all sat around a campfire and Rick said, "We are all infected, it doesn't matter what kills us, we will all turn. Doctor Jenner told me before we left the CDC". Then everyone except me got mad and said that he should have told them and said maybe they should separate from the group. Rick got angry and said, "I've been keeping you alive, most of you would have been dead if it wasn't for me". Everyone quickly shut up, but none of it mattered to me.

Andrea POV(3rd)

Andrea was left on the farm alone after everyone left. Lori thought that she was killed by walkers when Andrea killed a walker and it fell on her. Then she tried to ride with Rick but he didn't notice her calling out to him. So Andrea ran and ran through the forest, in the opposite direction of the highway while shooting walkers. She had a dufflebag of guns, inside was a pistol with it's ammo and a shotgun with it's ammo. She also had a hunting knife on her belt. Anyway she ran in the forest until she couldn't run any more, and then she was trapped when a person wearing a hood with a sword saved her.

Time Skip - 7 Months

We moved around a lot through the past months. We survived through the winter by luck and my system. I gave Amy and Maggie all my food and barely ate anything. I regularly used healing on Amy, Maggie to keep them healthy, I would heal them every night. Amy and Maggie were the healthiest person in the group, followed by Sam, and I made sure they never felt hungry. The group had become closer to each other like a family, they also got better at killing walkers. Also we have developed better teamwork. I was looking gruff, my hair had grown, the sides and back had grown to be 6 inches and the top 10 inches, it looked curly from always being wet with my sweat. My beard was also looking unkempt and was around 2 inches long. I made myself look skinnier because it would look wierd if I looked super healthy while barely eating. Sometimes I would leave the group to scavenge and if I didn't find anything, I'd buy some from the system shop and bring it back.

Anyway, we had traveled in circles clearing places and staying there for a small amount of time. Then we'd move on to the next place, we lost Merle along the way, which impacted us more than we thought it would.

Now we are looking for a new place to stay, we were running low on gas, so we stopped. Rick and Daryl left to scout ahead, while we stayed and checked our supplies. I guarded the group with Glen, and after 30 minutes Rick came back with Daryl. Rick said, "I found a prison, there aren't many walkers. We can take it". I said, "I'm in, but if there are any prisoners I see as a threat, I will kill them". Rick said, "That's up to you then".

Then we walked slowly while killing some walkers to the prison's fence, we cut it open with bolt cutters, we tied the wire to close the fence. We walked through the walkway between the guard towers, killing some walkers through the fence. We arrived at the gate to the walkway next ot the main gate that was partially blocked by a prison bus, Rick said, "Glen, Daryl, Hershel, Carl, Sam, Carol, and Sophia. Go up this tower and shoot from above. Maggie, Amy and Beth draw the walkers away through the fence. Jack and I will go close that gate".

When everyone was in position and ready, Rick and I went through the gate, into a big open area filled with grass. There were a few dozen walkers in the large area. We ran towards the gate that lead to the community area with benches and a basketball court. We killed several walkers on our way, I still had the spear I found at that museum, the people in the tower helped by shooting walkers bunching up together. We successfully closed the inner gate, Rick went into a watch tower, while I stayed on the ground fighting melee with my spear. I killed a dozen walkers skillfully, the others made sure not to shoot the walkers too close to my back.

In the end, we killed all the walkers in the field. We moved all the corpses near the main entrance, then set up camp in the middle of the field. Rick said, "I know your tired, but this place could be a goldmine, looks like most of the walkers are in prisoner or Guard uniform. Meaning the supplies could still be intact, they'd have an Infirmory, a Commisary", Daryl interupted, "An Armory?". Rick answered, "That would be outside the prison itself but not too far away. Warden's offices would have info on the location. Weapons, Food, Medicine.". Hershel said, "We're dangerously low on ammo. We'd run out before we make a dent.", Rick said, "That's why we have to go in there... hand to hand. After all we've been through, we can handle it, I know it. These assholes don't stand a chance". We cooked some food and I gave my portion to Amy and Maggie, any left over I would give to Sam. They looked cold, so I took off my trench coat and hoodie, then gave it to them. Everyone looked at me and smiled, because they knew after Andrea's death I had taken extra care of them. They knew I would do anything for them, starving and sitting in the cold were nothing. After dinner we laid on the grass grouped together, I rapped a giant quilt around them and use healing, then they fell asleep with me following soon after.

Andrea POV(3rd)

Andrea survived through the winter, with the help of her new friend. Her new friend introduced herself as Michonne, she has dark brown skin color, fit body, with dark brown locks of hair. Michonne did her best to take care of Andrea, after she saw that Andrea was pregnant. They moved to try to find a more secure place, while moving they saw a helicopter. They followed it, but then they saw it drop from the sky and crash into a forest. They went to check it out and found that another group found them first. They observed the group for a short while then approached cautiously, Andrea said, "We need help, can we join your group?". The group looked at them cautiously, but saw it was two women and one of them was sickly pale and pregnant, their leader said, "Yes, you can join. We have a settlement close by". Then Andrea and Michonne got in a car while blindfolded and went to their settlement.
