Absolute happiness.

"Get ready Rima, they have almost arrived." -shouted her mother.

Rima is all decked up with jewellery. She is nervous and her heart beats faster than usual. She is preparing her mind how is it going to be. She has rehearsed well all her lines and played it multiple times in her mind. It is a big decision, she feels she is not ready for it. She has seen his photo but she has not liked him much.

They arrive. Greetings are being exchanged. Delicacies are served. Rima comes holding a tray of tea. Rohan looks at her and kept his gaze firm. He is trying to read her. Meanwhile, Reema dared to raise her eyes up to look at him.

The first glance and first smile is exchanged. They are asked to go to terrace and talk.

Rohan - You look good in saree.

Reema - Thank you.

Rohan - I like you. If it is a yes from you we can let our parents know.

Reema - Are you sure, you hardly know anything about it.

Rohan - I don't need to. You can ask me anything you want.

Reema (looks puzzled)- I had a bad past. Will you not ask about it?

Rohan - Well, it was a past. How does it matter?

Reema- Riya will stay with us. You don't have a problem?

Rohan - I will be blessed to have two angels in my life.

Reema looked at him unable to speak out. Her eyes have become moist. She felt like someone has coloured her lifeless life again.

After a failed relationship of almost 4 years, she is trying to restart everything. Riya is her 2 year old daughter.

Rohan - I got your response, Rima. Thank you. You don't know how happy I am today. You don't know me but I have known you since college days. I used to secretly look at you and hoped someday you would be mine. My dream has finally come true.
