Louvnel

In fact, it was indeed slow. However, considering she was just a beginner, it was already a good start. Zenesha only didn't want such a small success to blind her to her goals.

She tried a few more times until she was exhausted and his mental power capacity had been depleted. Since, she was only commanding elements, the burden on her had been lessened, which was quite a good improvement.

Zenesha looked outside; there was some exhaustion written on her face, but the bright expression revealed her good mood.

This was only the beginning. She inwardly muttered, but somehow, she couldn't help being hopeful for her future. As long as there was time, she could. Zenesha always thought so, otherwise, she had long since become insane in this body.

Just like that, Zenesha practiced commanding elements until she could only do so with a mere thought and didn't need to take things slowly.

Two weeks passed by, but it was like a fleeting moment as she was immersed in her practice. She even almost isolated herself from the world while in the day and pure Zenesha was in the act. In this way, she wouldn't be distracted by the harem, and it was effective as she didn't remember most of the things that happened during the day.

At night, she was only practicing commanding the elements and mastery with the moonlight manipulation while at the same time absorbing the moonlight to enhance her perception and increase her mental power capacity.

She found out that what she called mental power capacity was only connected to her soul and how strong it was. Now that the disharmony between her body and soul was loosening, Zenesha could increase her influence over the body.

Zenesha knew she was only short on something to initially control the Spirit Shackles in her soul.

"That's it for the night..." she mumbled as she sat on the floor, completely spent. However, this night, she was already getting more and more proficient in her moonlight manipulation. She could even make an illusionary moon made of the elements. However, she didn't dare proceed with it, as the commotion it could cause might disturb those beings.

She was satisfied with her progress, but she couldn't help but frown and become uneasy.

"Only less than three weeks and the Moon Goddess ritual will happen," Zenesha's melodic voice sounded inside the room, but it was also accompanied by worry.

It was because when that happened, the main storyline would finally begin, and that was the real challenge for her. She didn't dare be complacent. Zenesha knew that even with initially controlling the thread of her Spirit Shackles or even when she mastered completely the moonlight manipulation, it was still not enough for her to fight the fate that those beings had sealed her upon.

Eventually, her eyes became firm as she pursed her lips. Her blue eyes glistened with light, filled with unknown emotions and thoughts.

Zenesha's footsteps stopped, and her gaze gently stared in front of her. A man stood not far from her; even Zenesha inside had to focus her attention in the act. She suddenly became wary.

It was because of the man who was standing in the middle of the hallway; he was obviously waiting for her. He was only standing there, but the air around him immediately became cold and gloomy as she sensed the evil aura that was gathering in the surroundings.

Louvnel, one of the four lead harem, a demon general. His identity wasn't fully elaborated in the novel, and among her harem members, he was the one Zenesha couldn't understand the most. Other than being a sadist, which was part of his race's distinct personality, and being a demon general, nothing was mentioned about him.

Zenesha was extremely cautious about him; what was most dangerous was the unknown.

It only took a moment, and pure Zenesha started walking again with the same gentle expression on her face that became even softer upon seeing one of her beloved.

Her heart skipped a beat, and she forced herself not to influence the pure Zenesha. Since she was already capable of initially controlling her Spirit Shackles despite only being short of something, her influence over the body had increased significantly.

However, in doing so, it might create an anomaly. That was something she couldn't afford at this stage. Hopefully, this demon wouldn't think of doing something to Zenesha while it wasn't yet the start of the main storyline.

Louvnel nodded, but his aggressive and intimidating appearance still lacked a smile. His red eyes stared at her as though observing her. Zenesha frowned inside, there was something in those eyes that she couldn't pinpoint. However, she dismissed them immediately since Louvnel was always like this, silent and cold.

"Why are you here?" Her gentle voice rang, instantly gathering the elements around her. Zenesha's perception was so thoroughly enhanced, that it even influenced the body during the act.

While Zenesha's body still had a pure and majestic aura most of the time, it still lacked something, which was the ability to agitate the elements. Something had changed with her aura now that she was resolving the disharmony and increasing her proficiency with commanding the elements.

Louvnel didn't take his gaze off her, and it even became intense.

"To see you." he simply replied, as though his words were so precious and expensive.

"Why do you want to see me?" Zenesha asked gently, lacking the emotion she needed.

Inside, she was also observing Louvnel and became even more on guard as he stepped forward, closing their distance. His crimson eyes, fixated on her, scrutinizing Zenesha.

'What does this man want? He's so weird...' Zenesha couldn't help but mutter inside. This man was always the one she couldn't read, but he suddenly became even more complicated.

Pure Zenesha didn't step back, and she lifted her gaze to meet his crimson eyes. Her icy blue eyes, which were so pure, reflected the demon's cold appearance.

"You're different," instead of answering her question, Louvnel said something else.

This made her heart pound as she furrowed her brows, repeating what he said in her mind while also staring intensely at his face. What did he mean by she was different? Other than her... wait? Don't tell her...

Zenesha titled her head, confused by these words. It was as though she was accessing what she had to say.

"Why am I...different?" Pure Zenesha perplexedly asked, her voice gentle but low, with a slight uncertainty in her words.

She blinked her eyes and stared at one of her beloved before her. While pure Zenesha was confused, her eyes widened slightly inside. There was some movement on the Spirit Shackles, as though they were loosening before becoming firm.

Louvnel stared at her for a moment, and he nodded. His expression was as though he had confirmed something, but his expression didn't change. However, with her perception, she could discern that something really changed in him!

'What the fuck is going on? I don't know what this man has realized?' Zenesha complained inside, she was already becoming nervous. She didn't know if he had already discovered the difference about her and if this could foil her future plans.

Louvnel wasn't Prime, whom she still didn't trust but was willing to cooperate with because he wasn't part of everything and had a likely higher existence at the same level as those beings. For this man before, as a part of the lead harem, if he realized something, that could only mean trouble for her.

'I need to know, but how?' Zenesha began to think of any possible solution without exposing herself.
