Chapter 4: The Motion

Noah Kovacs' POV

I was closing the suitcase that I will be bringing with me. I told Aaron that Sheila was getting worst and if we don't move soon, she will be detained here, forever. I sighed as Aaron nodded curtly before someone was knocking on my door. I sighed before I opened the door and an anxious Aaron was inside my room.

I never saw her this anxious, like EVER.

"Whats's wrong? Was it Sheila? Is she alright?" I asked him as he was breathing heavily before he was looking at me.

"We got a problem," he said as I looked at him, hoping that he will elaborate more.

"That huntress was here. We have to go now!" He said as I tsked and I went running down the code that I have practiced and the plan was in motion now.

"Get your suitcase, time to break out of this useless prison," I said before I let the bomb count until the time is off. I grabbed my suitcase before I went to the cell that Sheila was being held in. I did give her some medicine so she will be out for how long, I don't even know.

"Damn it," I said as I was hiding from the superior that was making their rounds in the cell. I hope that they found me and I can only pray that Sheila was in good condition. But then, I heard them talking.

"I heard that this woman was holding something. She has something that can alternate the genes of the human," one of them stated as I was gripping the suitcase.

��Is that so? You have the proof?" He asked as I was looking a little and that son of a bitch was giving the file that I have on Sheila.

Damn it!

"Here, my mentee has been devoted to finding the course of what she can do and I can vouch that we were having good progress so far," that old man said as I was clearing my throat to make my presence.

"Ah, there he is! Come, Noah, I want you to meet the director of this facility. Sir, this is the young promised talent that I always tell you about," he said as I was shaking hands with the director. He was smiling before I was looking behind his eyes.

He was an abuser and he wanted Sheila to be his new pet toy. Fuck!

"it's a pleasure to meet you, sir. I cannot say that I have been dying to meet you ever since," I said as I was gripping his hand before I sent some chills from my body to him. He took his hand away.

"I see. I hope it was all good things," he said as he laughed. I smiled at him.

"Yes, it was all good things," I said before I was letting them see that my eyes have changed from my blue ones to glowing turquoise, showing me who I was.

"And I would appreciate that you will never come near me or my mate ever again," I said as I was holding my hand and the chills were getting to them, turning them into ice and I was smirking at them.

"And that was one of the things that I can show to you, but I'm afraid I was busy," I said as I went to kick the door down and Sheila was tossing in the bed. I went to get to her before she was gasping and crying.

"No, no, no!" She shouted before I was holding her hands and I sent my chills to her. She was burning like lava and I know that I was the only one that calmed her down.

"Come to me, my love. We have to go now," I said before Sheila gasped as she was looking at me. She hugged me before I was hugging her back as well.

"Oh, Noah. You came. I know you always came," she said as I was kissing her naked shoulder. She was wearing a revealing nightgown but I have to change her now.

"We have to go, my love. Come on," I said before I was getting her out of the bed and we were starting for the door before someone was blocking us against the door.

"Drop her now before she can do any more damage," the Huntress, Astrid Larsen, or the vampire hunter that we known and met a long time ago.

"No can do, princess, we have to get going now," my cousin said as he was on the hallway before he pushed her out of the way and blocked her advances.

"Go, Noah. Run now," he said as he was tangling with that Huntress. He was fucking smirking as he was fighting that vampire hunter. If I don't know him any better, I think he was going to kill her.

"I see you around," I said as I was dragging Sheila from the room.

"Don't wait up," he replied as the Huntress was coming at us before Aaron tackled her again.

"Urgh! You're getting on my nerves," the Huntress said as I was looking at them. They were face to face now and I saw that my cousin was licking her lips.

Okay, freak much but I don't have anything to stay and watch their banter. I need to get Sheila to safety and only Aaron can distract her.

I was moving to the basement where there will be a boat as I was getting my plan to take Sheila out one of these nights.

"Here, wrap it around you," I said as I was putting a coat around Sheila. I did not know what was going on but I know this building will be going down. I was starting the boat before it roared to life. I was guiding it so that we will be out of here right now.

'I'm sorry, Aaron but Sheila's safety came first,' I said through mind link before he laughed with a smirk.

'Don't worry, cuz. I was not that easy to be killed by this pretty Huntress, ugh,' he said before I was out of the way and I was determined to reach the exit plan as soon as possible.

I cannot worry about Aaron right now. I have to get Sheila to safety. That's my priority right. now. And besides, it will do good for Aaron to get revenge on that Huntress.

I was conducting the boat in the right way before we were off from the facility. The laboratory was on a small island near Cyprus. If you wanted to know how we get here, let's just say that Aaron knows a big deal of people.

I sighed as I was sure that we were in safety before the lab exploded. I was looking at the fire that was coming from there before Sheila gasped.

"No, no, NO!" She shouted before I was heading toward the jetty that was coming in short of our distance. I hooked the rope and I killed the engine before Sheila was crying over the fire.

"Sheila, my love, we have to go now," I said as I was gripping her arm before she turned to look at me. Her face covered with tears was heartbreaking much for me.

"No, this is all my fault. You should have never saved me, Noah," she said as she was shaking her head before I sighed.

"it's not your fault. If anything, I was the one that planted the bomb there so that Huntress will never catch you again," I said as I was cradling her face. I was staring at her as I was caressing her cheeks.

"If anything, I was to be blamed in this matter. Not you, my love. I am and I will never let that haunt you again," I said as I was kissing her lips briefly before she whimpered.

"As much as I love to kiss you thoroughly right now, we have to hide before authority came to investigate," I said before I pulled her out of the boat and I was gripping her hands before Sheila looked at the fire for one last time.

"Okay, let's go," she said as we hurried to run inside the woods that was near the jetty to conceal our presence. I hoped it was enough but with Sheila, nothing was.
