The Meaningless Princess
She walked in a haze, marching forward, directly to her tent without looking around or taking note of anyone or anything else.
She was focused on only one goal: getting away.
Getting to safety.
Away from anyone who could see her. Who could talk to her.
She needed to get to her tent.
And then...
She didn't know what she was going to do. She couldn't really think straight at that moment.
The prince was cruel. She'd known that from the beginning.
He'd shown her that from the moment they'd met. She had known from the beginning that he wasn't a kind or compassionate person.
He was the villain.
He was the evil emperor in waiting. The one who would kill his own people for his ambitions, who would throw his soldiers at Altoran and the other countries like fodder in order to achieve his goals.
He was a man who would sacrifice the happiness and well being of anyone, himself included, for his own ends.
