The next time Kaiser wakes up, he's surrounded by soft blankets, his messy head of hair laid upon a velvet pillow, and his body feels less warm then the day prior.
His sweat induced clothes no long stick to his body, but Kaiser still feels gross and uncomfortable, a slight shiver racks his body. He feels his white shirt graze upon a perk nipple, and he flinches, the cotton material cold when touched upon his skin.
There's a soft knock on the door until the door creaks open to a tall man with short dark blue hair and black eyes. He wears a monocle and a fancy suit as he hurries in the room with a pair of clothes in his hands. There's soft grumbling under his breath as the man heads near the dresser beside Kaiser until the man turns his head, his black eyes meeting Kaiser's green ones.
"You're awake, great." The tall man drawls out as he rolls his eyes and plops the clothes on the dresser. "If you're finally well enough to rise, please change and meet me downstairs. I will give you a tour of the castle."
Kaiser nods his head, blinking as the man huffs before pointing a thumb to himself.
"Ron," the man said, "my name is Ron, the prince's right hand man and assistant. I don't like you, not at all, but his Highness sees it that we'll be working together moving forward. Fun."
"I'm Kaiser," Kaiser said, offering a tired hand to Ron. "My pleasure meeting you, sir."
Ron stills, clearing his throat at the mention of "sir," taking a gloved cuffed hand and coughing in it as his ears perked up.
"Y-Yes, well you'll be learning a lot from me," Ron said, fixing his collar. "His Highness is a prompt man. Be prepared."
Ron looks at Kaiser's outstretched hand, huffs, and shakes it, but not without shooting a subtle glare Kaiser's way.
"You have ten minutes," Ron said. "Be on time."
…
Kaiser wasn't able to take a bath, but he's able to at least change his clothes for the day. He quickly strips, his muscles chest and limbs feeling swore from yesterday still, and the bite on his neck still pounding, but he feels well enough to move around, which is a major improvement.
Kaiser walks down the stairs, bowing here or nodding his head there when he passes a small maid or young butler. Some eyes look at him, a soft flush on their cheeks while eyeing his handsome face and attractive body, yet Kaiser misses all these looks, more focused on meeting Ron standing near the end of the steps then fo indulge in such things.
"You're quick, that's at least good." Ron said, raising his wrist and looking at the watch adorning it. "You made six minutes. Impressive."
Kaiser bows, looking up to Ron waving him off and beckoning him to follow behind.
"I will take you to the dining hall first," Ron said, "then the kitchen, the garden where His Highness sometimes likes to do his tea time—them I will get you measured for your other attires, and after you'll be meeting His Highness in his office."
"Yessir." Kaiser said, bowing his head as Ron walks ahead towards the large dining hall. A group of maids and butlers line against the wall, sneaking glances here and there as Ron and Kaiser pass the large glass table and blue and white walls. The kitchen is swiftly tucked in a corner outside the dining hall, where it's bustled with plenty of maids scurrying to finish what it appears to be breakfast.
Ron beckons Kaiser to continue to follow him, which he does, walking out of the kitchen and to the main doors outside. They further walk down past beautiful trees and flowers until they land in a spot down a short road and near the castle's gate, where red roses and blue roses bloom, and a beautiful engraved table sits in the middle of a small secluded area near a small lake.
"It's stunning," Kaiser said, watching the blue water rumble in the lake, "Very beautiful."
"It used to be the old Queen's favorite place." Ron said, eyeing the lake emotionlessly. "Victor comes here a lot if he needs a minute alone, or he goes to the courtyard to get some air. He has come here less ever since the new Queen discovered this place."
Kaiser blinks, nodding his head as Ron curtly turns and gallops up the road they came down on.
"I'll hurry and take your measurements, then I will bring you to his Highness," Ron said, "I'd have you borrow some clothes from a butler, but you have…very large assets, His Highness requested your clothes to be custom made."
Kaiser nods his head, feeling a soft flush rise to his tan cheeks.
…
After Kaiser is forced into the drawing room to be measured by a group of maids, Ron beckons Kaiser over down a long hall and to the far right, where Kaiser hears some rustling inside the room. Ron curtly nods his head before he clears his throat and knocks the door, announcing his presence.
"Greetings Your Highness," Ron said, "I have brought the prisoner-I mean Sir Kaiser."
Ron looks to Kaiser, giving him an unimpressed look before he opens the large doors to reveal a study with many books and shelves, all clean and tidied, as not a book shall be misplaced.
Kaiser stares around the room in awe, almost reaching his hand to touch the skin of a book on top of the large table in the room, but he holds himself back, already feeling Ron's eyes glued to his back.
"Have you never seen a study before?" It's a soft voice that etched him back to reality, "It appears as if you have not."
Kaiser turns his head, his green eyes meeting a pair of bright red ones. Victor sits in the middle of his desk, a thin feathered pen in one hand and a piece paper in another. His scarily neat desk has no mistakes or misplacements, even his filled tea cup sits ever so neatly at the corner of his desk, the liquid still hot by the steams it releases.
"I have seen one, Master," Kaiser said, noticing how Victor flinches before he quickly sits up straight, as if he forces himself to act normal. "However, never this grand have I. This is quite marvelous, my Master."
Victor clears his throat, placing his sheet of paper and feathered pen down.
"Will you call me Master in front of people, Venice, no—Kaiser?" Victor asked. Kaiser blinks, tilting his head to the side in confusion.
"You are my Master, Your Highness." Kaiser said, offering a low bow, "does such a title bother you?"
Victor looks away, his eyes focused on the wall beside him, yet there's a subtle flush on his face.
"No…" Victor said. "It is fine. Has Ron taken your measurements?"
"Of course, Your Highness!" Ron exclaims, standing up straight as he points to himself, "I have already gathered the measurements and passed them to the tailor. They should have some designs ready in-."
"Just purchase everything," Victor said, reaching for his cup of tea. "Whatever you think will look good, please purchase it promptly. I'd like Kaiser to wear appropriate clothes as soon as possible."
Victor's eyes move to Kaiser's tight shirt, the thin material exposing his plump, tan chest and rosy perked buds. His pants are at least long enough to fit his long muscular legs, especially since Victor's family has a lineage of tall people, but Kaiser's waist is thinner than his, and his bottom is a bit large, fitting very tight with the pants he wears. Victor forces himself to evade that particular area, focusing on the spaces around Kaiser and not his plump behind.
"You…don't even buy Brielle new clothes like this, especially so much…" Ron mutters, raising an eyebrow, "But alright, if His Highness orders it, I will deliver."
"Thank you, Ron." Victor stands up, cracking his neck and fingers. "Please have a order done within the hour, and have Kaiser take a bath. Let a maid assist him."
Ron nods his head, motioning Kaiser to follow him, which he does, but not without sparing Victor a look behind him.
"I will be back," Victor said, as if he's attempting to reassure Kaiser. "I only am briefly meeting a naggy woman, then I'd like to explain your duties."
Kaiser nods his head, offering a small, kind smile to Victor.
"Then I will see you shortly, my Master." Kaiser said, his deep voice laced with kindness, like milk chocolate, so sweet and silky, so light and airy, something Victor wants to hear speak in his ear, whisper in his ear, pant in his ear-.
Victor turns his head and offers a curt nod, staring wide eyed at his pale fingers as they grip his desk ledge, causing the wood to crack under his strength.
