Chapter 240 Let's get married

Standing at the doorway, her eyes scanned it the entire room. She remembers the last conversation they had in this place and she sighed. Nonetheless, they had so many memories in this place.

"What are you doing there? Come," he said and she took a while to walk towards the bed.

Sitting on the edge, he asked," Is everything alright?" "Yes." "Where were you?" he asked. "I was with Yin Chen and your mother," she said as she brushed her fingers on his hairy legs. "Alright. Mother asked me something," he said and she looked at him. "What is it?" "Uhm...she wanted to know if we were back together so that she gets to organize the wedding," he said. She looked surprised and asked," Really?"

"Yes. Is it surprising?" "Yes. I didn't think that she would still be enthusiastic about it given what happened last time.," she replied. "I get. So, what should I tell her?" he asked. She thought before saying, "We shall see about that Jin Liwei. By the way, I wanted to ask. How comes that you didn't remain with any scars? Your wounds seemed to be deep."

After having dinner, they laid in the bed watching television. As they were in the middle of a romantic movie, she felt his hands slip inside her blouse and she looked at him before asking," What are you doing?" When he gave her bosom a squeeze, she whimpered and said," Behave! You're still unwell." "Are you sure about that?" he asked. "Yes. You've not yet fully recovered," she said. "How about I show you?" he asked and she saw him crawl on top of her. Her eyes widened and she said," Jin Liwei! You're not yet well." She tried to reason with him but he was having none of it.

Li Fei woke up and stretched her limbs and realization hit her that she was naked. Looking at his sleeping face, she smiled. She couldn't believe that he had taken her and he was that strong. She took a deep breath at the thought of telling him about her pregnancy.

She slowly detached from his embrace and as she was leaving, he pulled her back to his chest and she yelped. "When did you wake up?" she asked catching her breath.

"Just before you," he said.

"Are you really sick?" she suddenly asked. "You should answer that," he replied before saying," Are you still doubting my strength?"

She blushed and said," No." When they became silent, Jin Liwei said," Let's get married already. What are we waiting for?" "You're not well yet. We have to wait until you're back on your feet," she said. "If you assure me that we shall get married as soon as I walk again, I will practice and it will happen in less than a month. Isn't it?" "I don't know Jin Liwei. We still have a lot of issues pending. I have to talk to Jianyu and you have to make peace with my family," she said. "We shall do all that I promise. Just say yes and I will call my mother to begin with the preparations," he said.

Taking a deep breath, she said," Okay. Let's get married." "Really?" he asked. "Yes. You can call her," she said and he pinned her down below him.

Before he could capture her lips, she said," Wait. I have more to say." "What?" he asked.

"That you have to be careful next time. You always have to first think hard before coming to conclusions. You have to communicate when anything comes up especially now that it's no longer only the two of us," she said. "I promise not to repeat the mistake I did, ever. But, what do you mean by no longer the two of us?" "It is because, I have our baby growing inside of me," she said.

His eyes widened and he quickly got off of her. "You're pregnant?!" he asked as he looked at her and she nodded her head.

"H-how? When did you find out?" he asked.

"The night before your accident. I wanted to inform you but I decided to do it the next day and it's when I received a horrible phonecall from Liling."

He looked at her unbelievably and said," It is the result of the night in the motel right?" When she nodded, he asked," Why didn't you tell me? We were together the entire time at the hospital."

"I wanted you to recover first," she said. He placed his hands on her belly and asked," Didn't I hurt it last night?"

She chuckled and said," Of course not. It's alright." He passed his hands through his hair and said," I honestly can't believe it. I'm going to be a father finally! I have to give my parents these great news," he got his phone and she said," Your mother already knows. She found out yesterday when she heard me telling Yin Chen."

"Now more than ever we have to get married," he said as he called his mother.

When she picked up, he didn't greet her and just said,"Mother, I just got the news that I'm going to be a father." "Yes son. I just informed your father. We are so excited." "I am more excited. Mother, about the wedding- " "We were speaking about the same thing with your father. We have to organize the wedding soon," she said.

"That is perfect mother. You're in absolute control of everything." "Very well then. I will start the process right away," she said before hanging up.

"Mother is going to start the wedding preparation," he told Li Fei. She smiled and said, "Alright. But before the wedding, I have to first go to Shenzhen and speak with Jianyu. He has done so much for me and my family and I can't get married without having a conversation with him." "I understand but I wouldn't want you to travel in this condition.
