Chapter 3:School

Ring....Ring.....Ring.....Ring....Ring....

"Marcus get ready it's your first day of school you don't wanna be late"said mom,"Arghhhh I don't understand why kids have to wake up at 7 to go to school I just wanna sleep"said Marcus."Don't you have to meet up with your friend Bradley so he can take you to your orientation and show you around the school"said mom,fine "I'm up" said Marcus than he got out of bed and started to go to the bathroom to take a shower that's when he remembered about the bat in the garage.

While Marcus was getting dressed he got a ding from his phone the girl he met Gracie texted him she wrote"hey Marcus are you going to be at the freshman orientation today"?thats when Marcus started to write back he wrote"yeah I guess I'll see you there at school Gracie",than another ding it was from Bradley who wrote"Yo Marcus sorry but I can't show up today at school I have a family matter I need to attend to".Marcus wrote"that's fine see you tomorrow than",Marcus than went downstairs to the kitchen and took some of his breakfast to the garage where he saw the bat flying around confused on where it was.Marcus tried to calm the bat down by saying "hey there girl it's okay I won't hurt you here have some bacon it's good".Thats when the bat came down from the Ceiling and try jumping on Marcus's neck trying to bite him but instead of landing on his neck the bat landed on the floor.

Marcus picked the bat up placing it on the table and tried to feed her bacon but instead of biting the bacon it bit his hand,Marcus said"ow that hurt what the heck was that for I saved you"That's when he realized he was almost late for school.thats when Marcus grabbed his bag and ran out of the house to the direction of the school.While he ran he realized he was close to the school gate that's where he saw a bunch of kids picking on another kid with glasses,Marcus hates seeing this because those that's when he stepped in and said"hey what the hell do you think your doing to that kid and it's only the first day of school".The kids turned around in shock because of the loud voice and saw Marcus standing right there walking towards them,leave him alone or I'll make you leave him alone the kids started to laughter saying"your gonna make us leave him alone how there's 5 of us and only 1 one you"that's when Marcus said "I like that more fun for me than"that's when the leader of the kids tried to punch Marcus but he dodged it than he punched him again but he dodged and than he tried to punch again but instead of dodging Marcus grabbed his hand and punched him in the face and knocked him out.The other kids were shocked to see there friend lying there on the ground unconscious that when they all started to attack Marcus.Marcus dodges punch after punch hitting them once he sees an opening but there were too many of them and they eventually got him cornered,that's when all you hear is a loud "YooHoo"!!

Bradley came running drop kicking the kids that's when the kids knew the fun was over when Bradley came.Bradley was famous for being a heavy weight boxer and beat almost every kid in the school that bothered him or tried challenging him,Bradley said"hey Marcus you okay kid" Marcus smiles saying "yeah I'm alright"but when they looked back at the kids they were gone and with their unconscious friend.Marcus said "wow you really made them run with their tales in between their legs".Bradley said "nah that wasn't me who made them run it was probably you when they saw you take out there friend I just discourage them".Thats when the kid who they saved "said were 20 minutes late for school",hey at least you could say thank you first"Bradley said."okay thanks for helping me out but were late for school the sole purpose of why were here"said the kid.While Bradley was annoyed of the kids attitude he did make a point they were late and Marcus and the kid were freshmen and orientation is important,they all ran to the auditorium and listened to the teacher giving out a boring welcoming to the school.Finally after the lecture was done the teachers gave everyone their schedules and asked if anyone needed a guide to find out where their classes were.Marcus didn't need one because Bradley was gonna show him where everything was,the kid next to them introduced himself his name was Derek and he was in the specialized classes.While they were talking the bell rang and the school was strict about getting to your classes on time when the bell rings a second time that means some teachers roam the halls looking for any students cutting class.

Bradley than brought Marcus to his class and left telling him where all his other classes were.But when Marcus went inside the teacher said your late what's your name;Marcus replied with my names Marcus James when Marcus faced the class he saw that everyone was staring at him weird the girls in the class eyes lit up when he walked in but no so much for the boys while they all glared at him.All Marcus could heat was kids whispering about him one kid said who is that guy a model another said wow he's hot Marcus realized they were all compliments mostly from the girls.Thats when Marcus saw a familiar face in the classroom he saw that Gracie the girl he helped out was there so he sat in an open seat right next to her,Gracie said "she was trying to text him all morning to see if he was gonna show up" that's when Marcus looked at his phone and saw 40 messages and 6 phone calls.Marcus apologized and said he had to deal with a problem of his own before coming into the school.Periods later it was time to go home and Marcus was excited because he was gonna see how the bat was doing and see if he can release it.
