First Date Proposal

Darby was thinking about Gage all afternoon and she was really stressed so she took a bath then went to bed.

She heard a knock on her door and woke up feeling energetic.

"This sleep really worked" she said then recalled the knock on her door.

"Come in" she said and a maid came in bowing slightly

"Ma'am, Young Master is here. He said he needs to see you" The maid said then she thought of who was Young Master, it was only Gage who was referred as to Young Master.

"Is it Gage?" she asked and the maid nodded. "Leave" Darby said and the maid Left.

"What the hell is he doing here?" she asked herself as she looked out the window to see his car. She left her bed and went to the mirror then she started applying make-up. she didn't know why she wanted to impress him with her looks.

After her make-up she dressed in a short silver designers gown with silver heels then she grabbed her purse and phone and went downstairs. While coming downstairs she felt his eyes on her and it make her turn red.

He stood up and went to her then he held her hands and helped her come downstairs.

"Where are you off to?" he asked admiring her

"Um... I was about to go see my friends, one of my friend is having a birthday party" She said. She dislike lying to him but how else would she justify the fact that she dressed up just to see him.

"So what are you doing here?" she asked and he was about to reply when Iris came in. Her eyes met with Gage's and he smiled at her

"Future President Gage. it's a pleasure meeting you" Iris said as she shook his hands while Darby glared at her.

"Don't tell me you two are going on a date." Iris said looking at Darby's dress

"As a matter of fact we are so why don't you leave. Iris" Darby said and Iris just went upstairs.

"Sorry about that" Darby said In an apologetic tone mad he nodded "I actually wanted to see her" he said waiting for her reaction but she didn't change her expression.

"Whatever" she finally spoke and Gage sighed.

"I came to ask if you will like to have dinner with me tonight. Maybe after your party." He said and she turned red

"Did you Gage just ask me on a date?" Darby asked suprised

"Yes. Anything wrong with that?" he asked but she just shook her head. "Okay so.... Yes or no"

"Fine. I'll come. What place?" she asked

"No worries, I'll come pick you up by 8" he said and she smiled

"Why are you being nice to me. I remember when we first met at the mall you were damn rude. And at the cinema, the only good thing you did was to drop me off." she said

"Well maybe it's because you're a nice person too. But certainly a jealous type" he said. "But forget about that, I have to go now. Do you need a lift?" he asked

"A lift? To where?" she asked "Remember... the party" he said and she cursed him in her mind.

"No, the party isn't starting until thirty minutes." she said and he nodded before leaving. She couldn't finally believe that someone asked her on a date for the first time.

Even if she was a celebrity she wasn't good at relationships and all that and everyone knew that that's why men stayed away from her and she was suprised that Gage was coming close to her.

She pinched herself just to make sure she wasn't dreaming but even if she was she wouldn't want to ever wake up from that dream.
