Comforter

Darby didn't know what came over her because she was inside her car driving to Gage's house. She soon arrived at his mansion and took a deep breath before driving in. The gate keeper came to her and was in cloud nine when he realized he was standing next to Darby Robbert.

"Can I have a picture with you?" he asked and she rolled her eyes

"Maybe later" she smiled a little but deep down she wanted to get rid of him. "So I Gage in?" she asked

"Young Master is in a meeting with the government agencies. He'll be home soon" The gate keeper said and she sighed before driving in.

She parked her car well and went in, the mansion was bigger than there's and the colours and designs was better too. As she walked in a Butler came to her.

"Good day ma'am, How may I be of help?" he asked politely making Darby think about having a Butler at their home too.

"Gage. I need to see him" she said

"Young Master will be home in a short while, In he mean time..." The butler brought out a pen "Why don't you give me your autograph" he smiled and she took the pen then she signed his suit.

"Thank you miss Darby" he said "What will you like to have?" he asked

"Nothing really... actually just a glass of water" she said and he turned to leave "Room temperature!" She said making sure he heard her and he did.

After drinking a glass of water she started walking around looking at pictures of Gage and his Father, she never really heard anything about his mother. She saw how handsome Gage was.

She didn't know why but after meeting Gage she lost all interest she had in Damien knowing he will never love her back. She didn't actually love Damien as much as she told Iris she just wanted to take him away from her so she could know how it feels when someone or something you love is taken from you. Her childhood was rough even if she had a rich family, when Iris was born she became invisible, All she could here was the compliments Iris was getting for no reason.

While she was still lost in thoughts she felt a hand on her shoulder and she turned to see Gage. He looked perfectly fine, he didn't even act like he lost his father making her wonder if he was responsible for his father's death. It could be true so he could be the next president.

"You're home. I just wanted to check on...." before she could finish he gave her a huge hug. she was suprised for a sec so she didn't hug him back then he pulled from the hug.

"I'm sorry.... it's just that you're the only one who came to check on me. Even Damien or Jessica didn't come" He said

"You know Damien and Jessica?" she asked

"Yeah, they're my cousins" he said and she was stunned, she couldn't believe it by it wasn't that surprising.

"Thanks. Who about Iris?" he asked and she frowned

"Iris, Iris, Iris, that's all you and everyone Always talk about, she didn't even come to check on you because she doesn't love you. She's frickin' getting married soon Gage." Darby said

"No, I don't love her anymore, I've gotten over her. I realized she doesn't love me long ago, I just wanted to see your reaction" he said and her face lit up a bit

"Uh... I have to leave now." she said "Thanks again. My comforter" he winked at her before she left.

He didn't know why but after speaking to Darby he felt a while lot better.
