Attempting to kill him

Abraham walked out of the school and headed down the silent road through which he always followed to his house, he decided to cut the distance by going through a pathway between two buildings.

He had just walked into the path when he felt someone grab him and pin him to the wall. He tried to scream but the person muffled him; Abraham struggled to escape but the person was too strong; it was at that moment that he realized who had grabbed him.

"Clarisse?" he tried to speak under the cover of her palm.

Clarisse pinned him to the wall with her eyes glowing light blue, there were lines of veins all over her face that appeared monstrous. She was breathing heavily with her face crumpled; she seemed really pissed and the angry breathing told it all.

"You shouldn't have done that," she muttered in a deep voice while still pinning him to the wall with her elbows.

Abraham was too shocked to react, how could a lady possess such strength to pin him firmly to the wall? Why did she have that heinous look on her face? Well, that was the least of the shocking things, because her canines grew longer the next moment and Abraham's jaws stopped in awe.

He tried to fight his way out but she held him tight. "I love you but at least now I won't have to be bothered over you, I can finally live my life without the thought of you," she growled and then she tried to bury her fangs on his neck.

Clarisse buried her canines in skin, but something strange happened; it wasn't Abraham's skin!! Yes, she could hear him scream but the skin she had bitten into wasn't his. The taste was strange and different from any human blood she had tasted, she pulled back immediately and was shocked to see Garrick standing there, he had intersected her bite by placing his arm in front of Abraham's neck, so therefore causing her to bite him instead.

"You?" she muttered in shock and frowned.

Abraham tried to run away but Garrick grabbed hold of him. "Let me go!!" he screamed in fear. "What the hell are you?" he queried with shock written all over his face.

"Don't let him go, he is mine!!" Clarisse yelled and tried to get at him again but her father blocked her with his other arm immediately.

"Relax, you are not going to hurt him, you can't just go around killing people with your vampire bite because you can," Garrick rebuked her.

"You can't tell me what I can do and what I can't do. Now, you better hand him back to me," she warned.

"Or what? You kill me too?" Garrick asked and grinned.

"Oh, you bet I would if I could, just give him over, you have no choice. If you let him go, he will tell everyone," Clarisse informed him.

Garrick chuckled as he realized that his daughter still had a lot to learn about being a vampire. He ignored her and then turned to Abraham who was still panicking and trying to escape from Garrick's grip.

Garrick pulled Abraham closer to him and looked into his scared eyes. "Nothing of this sort happened today, you will say nothing of what happened here, you will remember nothing of it, you had only left the school and went straight to your home, this never happened. Now go and remember nothing but that," he said calmly and then he let the boy go.

"What are you doing? He is getting away!!" Clarisse yelled as she watched Abraham walk away calmly.

She tried to run after him but her father grabbed her by the upper body and held her down. She tried to break free but he was way too strong and he wasn't even trying hard.

"Relax, he wouldn't tell a soul," Garrick yelled.

"What the hell makes you think he wouldn't? I just attacked him, I am sure he will go straight to the police and then I will have no choice but to kill more people," she cried out while trying to break free.

"Relax Clarisse, he won't!!" Garrick persisted.

Clarisse stopped struggling when she noticed the confidence on his face when he said those words. "Fine I am calm, but how are you so certain that he wont tell no one because you asked him to?" she queried with curiosity in her eyes.

"Exactly, because I asked him to." Garrick uttered and then let her go. She stood there staring at him with confusion all over her face. He sighed and then added, "I compelled her to do so."

"Compelled? How? You just told him what to do and he does it? Uncle Connor never mentioned such a thing to me, are you lying to me right now?" she queried.

"If I was lying to you, then you would have known. You still have a long way to go if you can't detect when a person lies, and you know nothing of a compulsion." Garrick uttered.

"So now you are going to lecture me for not being good at vampirism? Well I never had a father to teach me any of that and guess whose fault it is?" she fired.

Garrick sighed and bumped his fist on his face, he was tired of having this conversation already. Why wouldn't they just understand that it wasn't his fault? He didn't abandon them on purpose.

"Forget about the past, just give me a chance and I promise I will teach you everything that you need to know," Garrick offered.

"Screw you," she cursed and turned around to leave.

Garrick grabbed her hand immediately and turned her to face him. "You will come with me to the car and you won't argue about that," he said softly.

She froze immediately and her eyes widened in shock. "What have you done? Why can't I walk away?" she asked in confusion as she tried to move in a different direction but was unable to.

"Relax, sorry I compelled you, but you can get back at me when you learn how to do that," Garrick said and grinned on one side of his ear. "As for now, Princess… come with me to my new car," he said and crossed his arms on her shoulders.

Clarisse cursed and struck him on the side of his stomach with her elbow before following him. "Ouch," Garrick groaned and then laughed softly as he walked with her down to the road.

She hated him more for what he was doing to her. First he never showed up for twenty years and then when he showed up, he was forcing her to do things. How cruel was he? She swore within herself to get back at him.
