Jael entered the bedroom and was promptly followed by Mill, who held a light. Jael crossed the room to where Mauve sat and stopped in front of her. "Mauve," he called her name.
Mauve looked up at Jael, and the memories of two nights ago flooded her mind. She could vaguely remember waking to scold Louis and then falling back asleep. However, it was the incidents from two nights ago that made her bury her face in her palms.
"Are you okay?" Jael asked, stopping in front of her.
Mauve nodded but didn't pull her hands away from her face. What was wrong with her? She couldn't believe she had done that.
"Mill said you can barely remember what happened the last couple of days and you don't think you've slept for that long?"
