Chapter 4: You’re the best secretary

"Urgh my body and face hurts" she exclaimed while getting off the bed. "Lay back please" Hiang Li says while putting her down on the bed which made her turn red. She looked at him while pouting. "I almost died because of you, I hope you know that in all your business matters". He looked at her still with his face looking cold saying "You said you wanted to be my secretary even after I refused so it's not my fault". She frowns at him. "I managed to save the papers from the hand of that crazy man" she says with a smile.

             His face is sworn with surprise as he saw elder Zack leave with the papers. She tells him of how she swapped the real one with fake documents. "You can thank me now and say I'm the best secretary" she said while pouting. " what why in the world will I say that" he said with a frown. She groans in pain while side talking on how he won't give in to her demands. "So melodramatic oh my goodness" he said while rolling his eyes.

                   "Thank you" he said in a low tone while looking away. She finally smiles upon hearing those words and tells him to say the others one. "Just tell me where you hid the documents I need to leave" he said with a serious face. "Just say it say it or I won't tell you" she said while facing the opposite direction. "Youre the b bb… best secretary". She was flushed with redness when he said that.

                    "Now jokes apart where is it". "You know that huge coat you wore to the office this morning it's in there" she said with a huge smile on her face. "Oh no what have you done no no I sent it for laundry some minutes ago. He tells her to stay at the hospital while he go grabs the coat from the laundry Lady. "I want to come with please". He instantly declines telling her that she isn't in the perfect condition to come along.

                He leaves while getting a nurse to watch her as well as a few bodyguards as he knew she was stubborn and persistent. "He thinks he can keep me here well in your wildest dreams" she said with a smirk. "Nurse, nurse I need water". She groans In pain to make it believable. As the nurse was about to bring the water, she pushes her away and locking her in the first aid cupboard.

                   She quickly runs jumping out of the window as her room was at the downstairs floor. "Now to go to Mr Hiang Li, well this is my town so it will barely take me 10 minutes to find the laundry" she said while bragging.  As she was about to enter the laundromat, she bumped into Hiang Li. Hiang Li was so surprised to see Hikari that he had to clean his eyes.

                He grabbed her hand saying "What are you doing here I told you not to come here and in hospital robes". "I couldn't find my clothes so this was the last option okay" she said in a normal tone. They go inside together where they see the jacket on the washing machine. Her eyes go teary as she feels she has failed. She tries to run get it but she was stopped by Hiang Li. Immediately she pushes him and  runs opens the washing machine and puts her hand inside trying to grab the cloth. Though the excruciating pain, he didn't stop till she brought it out. "Hikari please stop don't do that" he said out of concern.

               She finally brings out the coat. Which made her shout for joy  "You all deserve to be fired like who doesn't check the pockets of clothes before washing". "You know you could just turn it off" Hiang Li shows her the switch. "Really are you kidding me right now" she sighs in disbelief.

                  They head back to the car where he insists on taking her back to the hospital but she declined the offer as her mother and grandmother would be worried about her to death. He takes her home to her neighborhood. "Thanks for dropping me off even though I could walk properly" she gives him a sarcastic smile. "Thank you for everything Hikari and please take care of yourself" he said with a small smile. She waves him goodbye and goes to her house.

                    "Hikari finally you're back  I've been waiting for you since 2days ago. What happened to you" she said in a concerned tone noticing all the bandages. "Mother it's nothing I fell down from the stairs in my office" she said with a reassuring smile. "Ypu need to be careful you know". Hikari notices some marks on her mother's face.

                     "Did uncle do this to you tell me I'll kill him" she said looking furious. "Please grandma is sleeping be quiet" she said in a whispering tone. Tears fell from her eyes, she promises her mother that she would pay every single penny which they owe their uncle and vacate the house as well.

                         One week later her injuries were almost healed. She went to wangshun restaurant where she met up with her crush Haru who was the head chef. Hikari never told Haru of her she felt because she was afraid of being rejected or making their relationship weird. She saw him coming with a cake towards her. To be honest she was excited about it that she stood up ready to accept it from him. As she moves forward she slips hitting the cake away from his hand to fall flat on the ground. "Um, I am sorry". She said feeling nervous. "It was for those couples at table 10" This made her even more embarrassed. She leaves to get a sorry gift for ruining the cake.

               When she comes back in the evening she looks around for him, she sees him upstairs with his ex-girlfriend Yua. To her greatest surprise, she sees Haru and Yua kissing.
