Chapter 01

"I'm breaking up with you!"

"Okay."

"I said, I'm breaking up with you! How the hell can you be so calm!?"

" Cause I know you'll be back to me."

Elliot woke up from his slumber. Panting and having cold sweats on his forehead. "Damn it!" clenching his fist and sat on his bed.

His eyes shifted to the man sleeping next to him. Snoring. Shirtless but with protruding abs and big biceps. Elliot bit his lower lip.

He softly chuckled. But that faded quickly. As he felt a pair of cold chartreuse-green eyes staring at him. Elliot looked through the window.

The fast beating of his heart can be heard through his own ear. The curtain was swinging in the air. The wooden floor creaked as he walked closer to the window.

"W-Who is that?"

Elliot shivered. Feeling a warm breath on his nape. He turned around. And was terrified to witness a man standing behind him.

Broad shoulders. Six feet tall. Ivory eyes, glowing in the dark. Staring deeply into his eyes.

"Jesus Christ!"

"Hello, Elliot."

"Don't come near me, or else, I'll scream!"

"I prefer you screaming on top of me. Creaming works too."

Elliot backed away. Until his body hits the wall. The man wore a naughty grin.

"You're blushing hard, aren't you?" he leaned closer and held Elliot's chin. "Hmm," he sniffed Elliot's neck.

"Your scent drives me crazy."

"P-Please, s-stop this."

"Stop what? I haven't done anything… yet."

"I have a boyfriend!"

"And you were once mine, Elliot. I can take you back, 'cause of mercy, of course."

Elliot shuts his eyes. He heard a hissing sound. And felt sharp fangs, slowly digging into his neck. His lips parted and a soft moan escaped from his mouth.

But the image of his current boyfriend appeared inside his head. Recalling the time of their first date and how he said yes to him.

Elliot pushed the man in front of him. Shaking his head. "No. You can't control my life anymore! You're just a fantasy, Damien."

"And we shouldn't be together because you're a vampire! And I'm a human!"

"That's so shallow, Elliot. Since when did you become so conservative about whether I'm a vampire or not?" Damien snickered.

Elliot scoffed. "I have moved on! Can't you see it, Damien? I'm happy with Marcus now! And I love him—"

"Not as much as you love me," Damien inserted.

Elliot fell silent.

Knowing too well that seeing Damien might trigger his forgotten feelings for the handsome vampire. "I'm not supposed to see you again. Leave me alone, Damien. Please, leave!"

Damien watched Elliot walk past by him. But he grabbed Elliot's wrist. Their gazes met. "We're not over, Elliot."

"You left me because of your stupid school and your stupid dreams when all you need is me," said Damien.

"Not so selfish, huh?" Elliot smirked.

"I don't think so."

"Stop being so self-centered, Damien. That's one of the reasons why I left you—"

"We were in love, Elliot. We are each other's world. You're happy when you're with me. I feel the same way too! And I'm confused, why all of a sudden you go cold to me?" Damien's face softened.

He caressed Elliot's face. A melancholic smile plastered on his face. "You are my everything," Damien's eyes glistened.

"Two months from now, you're graduating. I-I think that's enough time to break up with… M-Marcus."

Elliot couldn't say a word.

"I've never been so lonely for the past century of my life, Elliot. Please, choose me, this time," Damien sniffled. "Is that hard?

Elliot was about to answer but Damien blew air on Elliot's face and made him fall asleep. Damien was quick to catch Elliot's body and placed it back on his bed.

"I hate to see you with Marcus, Elliot. And I'm sorry for forcing you to sleep. But I don't want to hear your answer right now. It'll just hurt me," Damien covered Elliot with his blanket and placed a soft kiss on Elliot's forehead.

"I'll be watching you from afar."

--

"G'morning!"

Elliot yawned, marching towards the table. His boyfriend was preparing their breakfast. "Good morning too, Marcus," he said.

Marcus placed the food on the table, leaning closer to Elliot's face and kissed him on the lips. "Wow! I swear, mornings are better when your lips are on mine."

"So sorry I woke up late. I met — I-I mean," Elliot cleared his throat. "I had a weird dream last night."

"I hope you're dreaming about me and not some random guy," Marcus chuckled.

"Uh… yeah! It was you… naked."

"You're having wet dreams? Again?"

"Hmm. Uhuh. That… happened. Yeah."

Elliot looked away from his boyfriend. He caressed his neck. His eyes widened. "Shit!" Elliot felt two bite marks. His heart raced fast, remembering what happened a while ago.

"Are you okay?" Marcus asked, sitting beside him.

Elliot was tensed. While his boyfriend was slicing his pancake, "Hmm. I-I'm fine," was all that Elliot could answer.

Marcus raised a brow, placing the back of his palm on Elliot's forehead. "You're not hot. I mean, you look hot in my eyes," he chuckled. "But if you are not feeling well, we can skip class today."

"N-No."

"Okay."

"I'm fine. Nothing's wrong with me."

"Are you sure? You, saying it, sounds… weird. Are you hiding something from me?"

Elliot rose. "I-I have to go to the restroom!"

"What?" Marcus was confused.

"It's diarrhea! A huge one!"

Marcus scoffed, watching his petite boyfriend running towards the restroom. "That cute twink," he shook his head and finished eating his pancake.

"Where's that band aid?" Elliot opened their first aid kit. "Damn it. Why can't I find it when I need it? And when I don't, it just shows up like a mushroom!"

There was a knock on the door. "Elli baby? We're running late. I have to take a shower now." Marcus huffed in the air.

Elliot panicked. "I-I'm still using the toilet."

"Oh, please, babe. There's nothing that I haven't seen, heard, or smelled from you."

"Wow… I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or an insult."

"Elli, you know what I mean. Come on. Open the door."
