Chapter 56
My body felt sore and heavy when I came back from my memories and try to move around, my limbs feeling detached at first for how heavy they felt, but still they did not weigh down on me as much as my own mind did at that moment, all very clear to me now, how I felt pulled to the supernatural, to this city, to him, and how the blurred pieces of memories were now complete, a jigsaw put together to form a whole picture that I could only guess what it had been before from the parts I had in hands.
But now… now I feel that I'm finally back home.
As much as my body, stiff as is, demanded that I stay still for a lifetime to recover, I knew I had things to settle right now, and people to see to make sure everybody was alright, especially a stubborn sexy vampire that I could smell was around here somewhere.
