Chapter 118: Honeymoon to Ridgefall

...

The morning sunlight shone through the windows and curtains.

Ivery laid in bed feeling groggy and sore and glared at the person in front of her who caused it. Luther happily looked back at her with high energy.

It was unfair, in comparison to her messy bed hair, his flawless hair laid down straight with not a single strand out of place.

"What's wrong dear?" Luther cheerfully asked Ivery

"You're unbelievable." Ivery's eyes narrowed

"Whatever do you mean?" Luther feigned ignorance

"Do you ever get tired?" Ivery blushed

"I do, but I just can't ever get tired when it comes to you." Luther said with a naughty grin

"You're really unbelievable!" Ivery really couldn't get used to his high drive

She tossed the bed covers on him and got out of bed.

He took the covers off of his head and didn't see Ivery nearby. He got up and walked around and noticed she was getting dressed in her walk-in closet.

"Do you have to put clothes on?" Luther sighed

"No more until later.." Ivery sternly told him as she looked for a pair of pants

"Fine, but you're not wearing a dress today?" He asked as he watched her put on a pair of fitted black pants and tucked her white shirt inside.

"No, because we're going to Ridgefall remember?" Ivery said and squatted down, looking for a good pair of travel boots

"Wait, you want to go today? Right now?" Luther didn't know she wanted to go so soon

"If not today then when?" Ivery asked

"...." Luther truly didn't know how to tell her anything other than yes

"Okay." He nodded with a smile

"Really?" Ivery ran over to hug him, not thinking he would quickly agree

"Ivery.." Luther embraced her

"Hm?" She snuggled into his arms

"I won't be able to last until later if you keep it up." Luther lightly blushed, as for he wasn't currently dressed

"Oh.." Ivery blushed realizing it herself

"Get dressed then!" Ivery pulled away from him and turned her head nervously

"I'm dressed." Luther said behind her

"That fast?" Ivery turned her head and just as she did, she was pulled close to him and kissed

When he pulled away she was then able to see that he was indeed dressed, it was a similar attire to her's, a long-sleeved black shirt with a v-neck that exposed some of his chest in contrast to the white, curved hem shirt she wore. He also wore long fitted black pants, along with his usual black shiny, oxford shoes.

"Since you're dressed then, let me finish.." Ivery calmed herself and walked deeper into the closet and found a good pair of tall shiny leather boots with short thick heels, she grabbed a black leather corset to match it

"Help me?" Ivery handed her corset to him

"Of course." Luther nodded with a smile

.

.

Ivery was successfully put into her corset with Luther's help, along with her pair of boots that she had to squeeze her feet in, but despite that, they were a comfortable fit. She also had her hair tied up in a high ponytail.

Ivery summoned her infinity sack and began to toss several clothes and other trinkets she thought she might need.

"Is all of that stuff really necessary?" Luther raised an eyebrow, wondering if she needed everything she was throwing inside

"You never know." Ivery threw more items inside

"If you say so." He shrugged

"Alright, that should be it." Ivery waved her hand and her infinity sack dissipated

"Finally.." Luther thought was going try to squeeze her bed inside eventually

"Lastly.." Ivery snapped her fingers

A cloud of golden mist swirled in front of them and a small girl dressed in a maid's outfit, with long crystal blue hair with yellow eyes, looked at them with confusion.

"Master! You finally summoned me!" Eness ran to Ivery and jumped into her arms

"Eness, we're going to travel somewhere again." Ivery told Eness as she rubbed her head

"Where to master?" Eness looked up at Ivery with her small arms still wrapped around her waist

"Ridgefall." Ivery answered

"Oh, that place!" Eness recalled Ivery's journey there

Eness suddenly cringed and shivered.

"M-Master...there's something very very dangerous nearby...this magic scent is too much.." Eness felt dizzy and covered her nose

"That's probably Luther." Ivery told Eness with a sigh

"Huh?!" Eness slowly turned her head and her eyes widened

"I-Impossible!" Eness turned pale

"What?" Luther glared at Eness

"How can you possess that kind of ancient magic?" Eness couldn't believe it, the scent of his magic was starting to burn her nostrils

"I just do." Luther said as he sat down on a chair

"M-Master! How can your mate be such a terrifying being like that!?" Eness dropped on her knees and thought Ivery was amazing for managing to make Luther her mate

"Eness stop being dramatic and get up." Ivery plucked Eness's forehead

"Sorry." Eness stood up and looked down

"Good, now if I have the coordinates right..." A pair of golden scissors materialized in Ivery's hand with a glow

Ivery vertically cut open a portal with the scissors, the portal widened with a wave of her hand.

Eness walked into the portal first.

Luther stood up from the chair he sat on and walked over to the portal Ivery made, he smiled before he walked into it, Ivery followed right behind.

.

.

Suddenly Ivery found herself falling midair.

Just as she was nearing the ground, she shifted her position and landed on her feet gracefully.

Luther landed down right beside her and laughed.

"It's not funny." Ivery crossed her arms

"You still can't get coordinates right?" Luther wiped the tears from his eyes

"I'm working on it.." Ivery assured him

"Right..right." Luther took a deep breath and finally stopped laughing

"Besides that, where's Eness?" Ivery looked around and saw that they were in a forest

"There." Luther pointed down beside Ivery

Ivery looked down and saw Eness lying face down on the ground, motionless. Ivery kneeled down and rolled her over on her back and poked at her.

Eness quickly opened her eyes and sat up.

"Can't you fly? How did you hit the ground?" Ivery asked Eness

"Before I realized it, I was already too close to the ground master.." Eness rubbed her head

Ivery sighed and stood up, she looked around again, not recognizing where they landed.

"I'll handle it." Luther stood behind Ivery and placed his hands on her shoulders

Luther snapped his fingers and suddenly both Eness's and Ivery's surroundings turned black within an instant. Within that darkness, hundreds of eyes stared at them and blinked. Just when all of the eyes closed, the darkness cleared up and they stood right in front of the gate of Ridgefall.

She saw that same endless line of people that were in front of a giant silver gate and tall white, shiny bricked walls.

On both sides of the massive structure, she recognized the two sparkling, clear, big waterfalls.

The three of them stood on the gray polished bricked pavement walkway, right outside of the gate. That same large diamond R was on the top of the giant silver gate.

"Was that your forced teleportation?" Ivery asked Luther

"Yes." He nodded

"I figured...my stomach is turning." Ivery frowned

She thought it made sense why Luther wanted everyone to close their eyes back then. If Danya and Yannel saw the process of being force teleported by Luther, they probably would've passed out.

Eness covered her mouth and didn't want to throw up again like last time.

"It seems we have to wait in this long line though." Ivery stared at the line of armored adventurers waiting to get into Ridgefall

"You wanted to come here." Luther sighed

"It's fine, we can wait for a bit." Ivery sat down and as she did a white chair with a cushion materialized underneath her

Luther just smiled as he stared at her.

"Oh wait.." Ivery had a good idea

Ivery stood up from her chair and snapped her fingers. A golden wave of magic spread throughout the area. The entire line of adventurers froze in place, not moving an inch, not even to breathe.

"I love the way you think." Luther pulled Ivery close to him and kissed her cheek

Ivery blushed with a smile as he continued to kiss her cheek.

"Master is truly amazing.." Eness stared at their romantic display

..

When Luther finally let Ivery go from his embrace, they walked straight past the frozen adventurers and headed to the gate.

Just as they made it through the gate, they saw three people with clipboards, there was a man with dark blue hair and green eyes, wearing light armor. Next to the blue-haired man was a blue-eyed, pink-haired woman dressed in a long purple slim dress and only wore metal vambraces. Next to her stood another man who had shoulder-length white hair but his eyes were closed. He must've blinked when Ivery froze everyone, but he was not wearing any armor at all, all he wore were long white robes, looking like priests.

The three of them all stood in front of two large silver doors, that most likely led to the entry assessment area.

Ivery, Luther, and Eness slipped in the line and as they settled in, Ivery snapped her fingers. Everyone unfroze and the loud chatter resumed.

"Hey! When did you get in front of us?!" A tall red-haired man with bulky silver armor looked at them with a sour expression

"We were always here." Luther's eyes turned black and he told the man

The man's expression dropped blankly and his eyes turned dull, he nodded.

"You were here.." The man continued to nod

Luther's eyes reverted to their normal color and he turned back around to Ivery.

Soon, they were all next to stand in front of the three people holding the clipboards, from there Ivery was able to see the white-haired man who was dressed in priests robes, eyes. She was shocked to see his multi-colored eyes that looked like a rainbow. She had never seen such an eye color before..

They all looked at Ivery, Luther, and Eness.

"The blonde girl there, you can line up on that side, and when the door opens, proceed ahead." The pink haired woman told Ivery as he pointed over to the line of people on the left side that were separated from the waiting line

Ivery walked over to the left line and saw Luther's saddened expression.

"And you.." The pink haired woman looked at Luther in awe

She couldn't help but stare at his mesmerizing face..

She snapped out of her trance and cleared her throat. "Y-You can go over to the right line, when the door opens, proceed ahead." The woman told Luther

He sighed and walked to the right line and watched Ivery from afar.

"And you, on the left line." The woman looked at Eness and pointed to where Ivery stood

"Yay!" Eness happily ran over to the line where Ivery stood in

Luther narrowed his eyes and felt pissed off that he wasn't with Ivery.

The two large silver doors opened and both the right line and left line walked through the doors.
