Part 18: The shadow.

I been held on by a the professor and they called my parents. While the three seniors been investigate about how the fight started. They blamed me for being rude and of course, they made up some impressive stories.

"Young lady, you're in a big trouble. Do you know those three seniors was the daughters' of big investment family?" asked professor. He put down his mug down and waited for my parents.

"Believe me, Prof. I didn't start the fight. They wanted Todoroki Yuji number from me and I said I can't give out someone information. I must let the person to decided. When I don't give his number, they attacked me inside the toilet. A few girls saw us fighting. You can asked them." I have to stand bold and never let those cheap bitch escape this unfair business.

"I see. Well, we might find those girls and ask for their statement. If it's match with your story and if they can proof it. Then we will decide the next step. But young lady, this is seem useless. These girls will pull some strings and put the blame on you. You know, rich against commoners. Good luck." The professor called up a few security and issues a case to the billboard, requesting if anyone got proof and could tell the real stories.

"You will pay for this!" warn the leader. She smirk at me and adjust her hair. The others seem more relax. They waited at the other side of the room and soon a few student came into the room and begin tell their part of stories. They talked with Professor and even show a video. After 30 Minutes of waiting, Professor came in with the university directors and my parents. They headed to the meeting room and discussed something.

"My daughter is not the one who should be punished! She did it to defend herself." Shout my Dad. I could hear his voice, he must be frustrated.

"Mr.Nagi, I hope you could cooperate with us in calm manner. Using violence is against our code and it is a serious violation for Campbelle student to behave in this much." Says the director. He must be one of the father for the seniors.

"But if my daughter being bullied, what should she do? Report and let her lived in pain?" asked Dad. Their argument lasted for 10 minutes. During that time, I try to rethink back my action and maybe I should just give up Todoroki number.

'How I wish I could turn back the time.' I sigh, I lean on the chair and waited for them. My room being knock by someone.

"You can open and enter." I say. I waiting for the door to open and waiting for whoever is there to enter. But the door stay closed.

"Weird.." I whisper and try to relax, yet again the being knock again. The knock was getting louder and louder. I quickly run to the room and lock it. I push the door as it starting to knock hard.

"Open...." something just spoke to me from the outside. It banging the door so hard. I keep on push the door.

"I...will...wait...for...you..." says the mystery voice. The voice was so creepy. The banging stopped and I waited for a sudden attack. I move backward and keep looking at the door. I saw a creature shadow walking from the outside glass. It was dark, tall and got a lot of long vein. It touches the glass and it's stink.

I hold my mouth and looked at it. I wanted it to stop but the creature walk slowly to the other side of the door. I keep watch of the creature movement and whatever this creature is, it stopped and bang it self on the glass. It bang so hard that the glass begin to crack.

"Stop it!" I shout at the creature but the creature keep banging hard, hurting it self. I hold on to Jarrel necklace and hoping it will helped me. The creature stop when the necklace light begin to shine. Then the creature ran away from it, I don't know how it active but all I know is I desprate for saving. I fall to the floor, my legs was weak because I can feel the overwhelm aura from the creature. It was filled with hatred.

I take a deep breathe and look at the room. I see nothing, not a sign from the creature. Maybe it truly left me. I force myself to get up and open the door. I wasn't sure but I need to make sure. I reach for the doorknob and wanting to open it when suddenly the door was knocking again, very hard and I ran away from the door. I see as the vein begin to find it way to enter the room, the creature putting it vein to get through a small hole. I quickly looking for any weapon that I can used against this creature.

I took a file and smash it to the veins. The damage wasn't great but the creature pull its veins back. I can hear it scream in pain whenever I smash it with the file, some I stepped on it.

"Open...." says the creature, it banging again hard on the door and the last three bang was strong enough to crack the door. The room was completed mess with dark oil, it's coming from the creature veins. The door suddenly collapse before me and I was stunned. Looking at it, the creature was standing and walked inside slowly, the veins overtake the door.

The white eyes staring at me, the body was made by veins and black oil.

"Open..." says the creature. It's veins start moving close to me and wrap my legs. It's so cold and oily. I tried to take it off from my legs but the veins are too much. It crawl all over to my neck and it started to touch my face, I was wrap in the veins. I feel like choking and it's so hard to breathe. I pull and pull the veins away from my face, but I can't take it off me. The next thing I know, I collapse.

"Hikari.." I heard my mother's voice. Reaching out to me.

"Mom?" I says with a weak voice. I tried to find her voice. In this darkness, I feel numb but my inner self tried to move. Am I this weak?

"Little girl, why are you always put yourself in danger?" It was Jarrel voice. We meet again.

"Jarrel?" I whisper. I can feel his hands pull me from the inside.

"Are you really want to see me that bad? If you want to be with me, join us." His words echo in my mind. When I opened my eyes, I was back in the office room.

"Let's go young lady." says Dad, he left the office with his temper. I walk outside following Dad from behind. I looked around the corner and everything is back to normal.

"Dad? What's going on?" I asked, Dad walk to smoking area and took out a small box of cigarette.

"Your mother is still inside with the management people. I came out to cool my heads before losing my temper again." explained Dad, he inhale and exhale the smoke.

"Dad, I'm sorry for the trouble." I apologize to Dad, I know my capability to defend myself.

"Hikari, you only do what's right, right?" I know his voice changed. It's full with uncertainty.

"Yes, Dad. I promise." I replied.

"I know. Sorry, kid. I will let your mother settle this matter since she can handle it well."

I nodded. We waited for mother to come out from the office.

Mum came out after she everything has been settled. Judging from her looks, it is a bad news. She walk to us as we waited at the hall.

"Mom...? How was it?" I asked. I stand up from my seat.

"You will be suspended for a week. You will not able to join any program including the golden week." explained mom, I was shock when I heard the statement.

"Golden week is my chances to a scholarship! I cannot believe this." The news and the suspension is too heavy for me.

"You're just in lucky that the director haven't throw you out from here." says Mom. Dad didn't say anything.

"It barely my fault. They are the one who started it and I have to pay full price for it? It is so unfair." I complain about it, I cannot accepted it. Not in this way.

"Let's go home." says Dad. He pull Mom in his embrace and hug her. Mom patted my shoulder and pull me to walk with them. I went back to my village with my parents and I decided to take a whole year break. Going back will be hard as the gossip begin to take place.
