Old Mrs. Parker is back
"Now its okay, you don't have to cry anymore. I'm fine now, I'm sorry for making you both worry so much. I promise never do something like that again." Old Mrs. Parker said so weakly but Sophia wouldn't stop crying. She has been dealing with so much guilt and fear that she doesn't even know how to manage it.
Donald stood up and hugged her, he has been swallowed up in his grief that he literally forgot to ask Sophia how she's doing and coping with the whole situation. Sophia finally felt better and stopped crying. She sat down and kissed old Mrs. Parker on the forehead.
"I'm sorry child, I didn't mean to make you worry so much." The old woman apologized her voice breaking. Sophia quickly wiped the tears off her face seeing that granny is already becoming worried about her crying and that can make her emotional and also contribute to her stress and that's the last thing she wants right now.
