Mr. Hansberry was about to smack Chamberlain when Lena shielded him. He fisted, "Move," his command was not heeded.

Lena acted like she didn't hear him, "Father, why are you mad at my husband?" She didn't understand why he was so angry. She didn't do anything immoral, neither did she commit a crime. They were already married, so it was acceptable. Why does he have to act this way.

"Y-you… you…" Mr. Hansberry did not know what to say. He was just… how could he stand the sight of those love bites and remain the same? He was her father and she his precious daughter. He couldn't help but feel that she had been corrupted by Chamberlain.

Chamberlain's head hung low as he did not know what to do, besides, they were married right? What did his father in-law think was going to happen. Surely, they wouldn't ignore each other forever or sleep in different rooms.
