A star? I wasn't even close to being something as beautiful. But... undying? Yes. I was. Since death never ever accepted me into its embrace. So what if I live this story to its end one more time? Just one last time. I want to feel it, living, rather than death. Only once. What awaits me at the end of this never-finished draft, I wonder... Is it the cure to my curse, or yet another rebirth?
"Are you suggesting that we go all the way back home?"
That didn't seem like a completely bad idea. It was at least better than aimlessly wandering around the frozen lands.
"Well, we can come back again any time. Plus, by then, maybe this commotion about the bounty dies down?"
People tend to forget the matters once they're not as talked about as before. If they search around and find nothing for a while, the uproar about the bounty will gradually die down and they'll give up and go back to their daily lives.
"What about the new year thing you guys were planning? And this human's visit to her family?"
Doris almost instantly responded with a shrug on her shoulders, "Me going back home isn't that important right now."
