(Rey's POV)

"Alright, sit down." Brutus told me as I was full of sweat and my body all bruised up, "Time for a lesson." 

"Lesson?" I asked, "Beating me up constantly isn't the lesson?" 

I walked over to a small desk that was in the middle of the room, I had no idea why it was there. It was just Brutus and I here, alone. For the past couple of days, he has been "Training" me, which mostly consisted of him beating my ass for hours on end. 

Now, he wanted to cut the training short and sit me down. 

"Alright.." He said as he walked over me, "What are we?" 

I raised an eyebrow, "What?" I asked

"What are we?" He asked again with a serious expression

"Vampires." I said

He nodded, "Okay." He said, "We are Vampires. I know this is a lot to take in, which is why I focused on conditioning your body for the past couple of days. But this world you're suddenly in, this whole ordeal, it is far larger than you can even comprehend. The Supernatural world is real and you're now a part of it." 

I nodded, "I guess..." I said as I leaned on the desk

"You have your doubts, maybe." He continued, "Lady Priscilla can hear your thoughts, you're scared, anxious, and angry. But trust me, that isn't you. Soon, as we progress your training, your confidence will emerge and you'll be the one she sought out. In the meantime, we must educate. Now tell me, what do you know of the Supernatural and Mystical?" 

I shrugged, "I...I don't know..." I said, "I'm more of a.....Sci-Fi kind of guy...you know? Space? Tech....?" 

He let out a sigh, "And you knew of Vampires..." He said

"I mean....I watched this one show when I was younger...about a girl in a town in Virginia..." I said as I placed my hand on my chin, "Two brothers fought for her, they were vampires....there were werewolves and witches in that show.....I liked the spinoff, though, about the original vampires of that show....that was cool..." 

"So you're familiar with two other races of our world, huh? Good." Brutus said, "And I've watched that show, the spinoff. One of its characters, an all too familiar resemblance to one of the Leaders of the Underworld." 

I raised an eyebrow, "Oh no...." He said, "That's not good....wait....Underworld?" 

"That's right...the Underworld." He said as he placed his hand behind his back, "The shadow world, if you must. There are many races of Supernatural Origin in the Underworld, we Vampires are one of them. Werewolves and Witches are also part of it." 

"I see..." I said, "I am not going to learn of those, am I?" 

He shook his head, "No, you're going to learn about the Vampire Race." He said, "Vampirism originated from the blood of the Onyx Mother, the first of our race was a Primordial Deity that started our glorious existence. There are many different types of Vampires." 

I watched as he walked over to a chalkboard and picked up the chalk. He looked back at me and gave me a serious look. 

"Pay attention." He said, "I'm not going to repeat myself." 

He then proceeded to write. 

"Okay.." I said

"Alright, here we go." He started, [A/N: this whole explanation is said by Brutus, in conversation as he writes on the chalkboard The info that is boldened is the only thing he writes as the rest is his dialogue.]

"Vampires are categorized in multiple types but to understand these types, we must know how they're turned. 

A vampire can only turn you by feeding you their blood via a magical ritual that will affect the chemistry of said blood. The more experienced and powerful the Vampire, the easier it is to activate the Turning Blood. The Turning Blood is the Vampiric version of the Werewolf's bite, the Lycan Toxic, which is also magically activated. 

First, there are 

Half-Vampires: humans half-turned into vampires by either being fed the blood by a weakened Turning Blood or an intentional half-powered one. The other way Half-Vampires can come into existence is if they are fed the blood shortly after dying, which is the only way to save a human person. Half-Vampires can walk in the daylight but it should be noted that they are far weaker, physically and magically, than Pure-Blooded Vampires. They can eventually turn into Pure-Bloods but the process is long and can result in Sanguine Madness. 

Pure-Blooded Vampires: Full vampires that are turned properly. The way this type of vampire is by being fed the Turning Blood of another powerful Pure-Blood and drinking human blood right after. If you don't drink human blood within 24 hours of being fed the Turning Blood, you will eventually wither and die, or turn into a Thrall.

Pure-Bloods can also be born naturally, from other Vampires, but we'll get to that in a bit. 

I want it to be known that those are the two main types of Vampires but for Pure-Bloods, there are levels. 

Pure-Bloods are the base of the true Vampire form, Half-Vampire being the incomplete. We are now delving into the true powerbase.

Master Vampire: a vampire with great blood power and an immense magical affinity. They are far stronger than your ordinary Pure-Blood and has access to different types of Magic. Master Vampires gain the ability to procreate; which means that any Natural-Borne Vampire was from a female Master Vampire. 

Ancient Vampire: This shouldn't be confusing to understand; Ancient Vampires are really old Vampires that with age and constant drinking of blood, have attained incredible power. All Ancient Vampires are Master Vampires, gaining more strength than your ordinary one. 

Vampire Lord: The highest form of Vampire; Absolute power and true immortality, nothing can kill them. While the only weakness they have is the Sun, which even then, it's highly unlikely that it will kill them, Vampire Lords are the pinnacle of Vampirism and the nightmare of every Supernatural Race ever. They have absolute control of any Vampiric ability and have mastered many magical arts. 

There are only two ways to become a Vampire Lord. The first is to drink several types of primordial blood, which that will not be in the lesson today. The other is to drink the blood of your kin a specific period of time after you are born, which is the rarest way to become one. The requirements for this to be a success are complicated which I cannot explain at the moment. At a later time. 

There are many Vampire Clans and few Vampire Noble Houses, we are one of the Noble Houses. All those clans have all those types of Vampires, including the Vampire Lords, which there are still few in the Underworld.

"So Lady Priscilla wants to make my blood potent to become a Vampire Lord?" I asked, "I am of Primordial Blood....so she says..." 

Brutus shook his head, "No." He said, 

"She's already a Vampire Lord."
