"This is why I hate nerf arcs! It is always so annoying! Well, on the bright side, I get to flex my dark horse, one in a million, cultivation genius traits. Adrian thought, swiping his hands and closing the screen in the process.

"Alas, until a higher realm cultivator decides he does not fuck with my vibes and sends me to heaven?"

Adrain lay on his back and looked at the sky, "Why am I being so… pessimistic?! I am happy-go-lucky, and the power of friendship will always be on my side!"

Adrian pointed his fist to the sky, "I shall seal the hea- Hey, stop that!"

Bb interrupted Adrian by licking his face as he tried to push her away. "Ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha!"

They both played around for some time, chasing each other around the hill while chuckling to themselves.

The duo fell to the floor with a smile, "That was fun, wasn't it."

Adrian said while looking at the purple clouds with his hands on his chin.

"I want to be an explorer all of a sudden! I didn't get my adventuring arc in the last world! Too much soap and jails, gives me shivers each time I think of it, but it's alright."

Adrian said, and BB just looked at him in confusion.

"Yeah, we have to get you to the foundation period quickly, this is getting quite bothersome, but I would need to plan out a schedule first!" Adrian got up walking around before going to the edge of a cliff. He looked down and thought,

"It is always best to contemplate when you're in danger… Makes your brain work faster and shii, aiit."

Adrian then made an orb of light and sent it to the middle of BB's forehead.

BB touched her head as she tried to get the light out.

Adrian then looked down and waved to BB before jumping down the cliff.

BB panicked and tried to jump towards him, only to miss by mere inches.

Midair Adrian thought as he folded his hands, "If I die for character development, I'll be really pissed!"

On the cliff, BB panted while walking on edge as she purred.

"Rawr Raw, rash!!!"

Unknown to BB, the light spot on her forehead glowed, spreading to her antlers and causing the markings to light up.

[Crackle!]

A thunderstorm formed ten thousand miles above BB, shrouding the sky above them.

Adrian, who crossed through the air, chanted a few words materializing a rune in the middle of his hands.

The rune formed in a cube shape and three blue dots rotated around an axis.

"Shield | absorb |immune!"

A blue barrier soon formed around BB, with the dot decreasing in size.

[Boooom! Crack!]

The lightning in the sky merged into a spot, glowing both peacefully and disorderly.

A monumental stream of light fell towards BB cracking the shield and suppressing her to the ground.

Adrain, still falling, now 50% closer to the ground, looked up and thought, "She is currently facing two tribulations, one mental and another physical…! It should be enough to make her evolve to peak stage QiRefining."

Adrian then signed, "God, this amount of thinking just to cross is such a drag…! Damn you cultivation-!!!"

The entire hill exploded in a blinding light that caused Adrian to cover his eyes, "The property damage in this world must be off the roofs!! How the hell does their insurance company cover all of that? It makes no-Awesomeeee!"

Adrian stopped talking as he saw BB hike out of the falling rubble while stepping on the air and forming a blue platform in her path.

She caught Adrian making him and on her back.

"That was so cool ಥ_ಥ!!! Sorry for doing all that, ok… Please don't bite me!"

Adrain said as they both moved through the sky, "Rawrrrr!!" BB growled happily in the sky

"Yeah, this is fun. Better than the last one! We can see almost everything from here!" Adrian exclaimed, watching down from her back.

Adrain pointed below them. The land was slowly turning dark as the sun began setting, "Looks like we are coming up on a small town, do you recognize it?"

BB grunted affirmatively.

"Oh! You do? That's perfect!!" Adrian asked before thinking of something that made his eyes widen. "Wait, you understood me!! Yes, the theory worked- I mean not theory, I guessed that would be the case, yea am never wrong!!"

Adrian scratched his head embarrassingly, "Anywho, let's go to that village and see if they have any side quests to give…" he pointed to the village and continued talking.

"We can hunt slimes, participate in a sect tournament, collect herbs, find a mystical treasure with an old man in it!" Adrian trailed off as they flew to the location.

"The sky's the limit, and the sky above it, and above, then another sky after that… there's many skies to cross…Who even built them? I need to talk to them about the concept of architecture because they clearly don't have it."

The Duo got close to the town, and what Adrian saw shocked him to the core, "I- mane this don't even make no sense?"
