𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘮!
Countless snowballs speared through the air and chipped away pieces of a large boulder.
An enormous figure peeked from the corner and instantly removed his head as a human-sized snowball came at the spot and fragmented a huge part of the boulder.
"This is not a very welcoming celebration if I say so myself, but whatever rolls your boat!!!" Jane screamed, which caused the bombardment to escalate.
"Woman, really just…really."
Chucker complained, and Jane scoffed at him before placing three arrows and drawing her bow, firing at the gremlins.
[Pierce!]
The arrow soared, eventually hitting the heads of three short green creatures with sharp teeth, wide white eyes, and open pores while adorning a pointy hat, green clothes, and curled shoes.
Some of the elves feasted on their compatriots as the rest fired snowballs with manic expressions.
[Bang!]
The intensity of the snow cannons intensified, withering the rock even more.
Baldur noticed this and took a huge breath, "Jane, cover me!!"
"Cover what!?" Jane said, but Baldur didn't give her time to think as he ran out at blur-like speeds.
He ran past the trees, and Jane reacted by increasing the rate at which she fired.
𝘗𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦!
The Elves started dropping at an alarming rate as the quivers accurately pinpoint their vital areas.
The arrows hit the insides of a cannon.
𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙢!
The weapon imploded in a blast of snow as it soared to the sky decorated in elven blood.
Multiple implosions of snow sounded, causing some little elves to run away from the machines and retreat as they cried blue transparent tears.
The commotion made them ignore the raging man running at them from the trees.
"RAHHHHHH!"
Baldur screamed as he jumped into the air with his battle ax raised above his head
The elves on the ground's eyes and mouths widened to cartoonish proportions.
"AHhhh"
[BOom| PuFf!]
The battleax landed, and massive amounts of snow raised into the air, stained with blood and limbs of the anomalies.
.
.
.
The rest of the group aimed there in anxiety as they shook in their boots.
The elves flinched at the sound, but it was just one of their kind now headless. It picked up its head and ran to them.
They signed in relief, but one of the elves screamed and urged them to shoot at their headless compatriot.
But they reacted too late as the decapitated elf came too close at this point.
"Delayed strike!"
A sound echoed around them, and milliseconds later, the headless creature exploded in a shower of red.
𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙢!
It took a dozen elves with the blood explosion.
The army of elves, now with low morals, wasted no time and shot as a heap of blood with no care if they were surviving compatriots.
__
An elf in the middle thought, "Ca… I ea… woody4?"
it looked at the shooter next to him and licked its lips.
"So…tasty!"
The elf slowly walked toward Woody4 as it opened its mouth wide while psychotically glancing at the neck.
𝘙𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘭𝘦!
A noise distracted it and caused it to look down in shock.
"Sorry, snow!"
The elf knelt and petted the ground before looking back at the neck, and saliva dropped from the sides of its mouth.
"Deli-"
𝘙𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘭𝘦!
"Hih? Snow shut-"
A massive hand clamped down on its neck from the snow.
Baldur looked at the elf with rage before closing his hand and bursting open its head.
He then raised his other hand to clear the snow around him on the ground.
Woody4 instantly reacted and aimed his handheld cannon to avenge his fallen loyal friend.
[Bang!]
The snowball collided with Baldur's nose, slightly breaking it,
Baldur didn't react. He simply held his nose and shifted it back to place before looking down at the short elf. His massive physique dwarfed the little gremlin.
Woody4 smiled nervously and shot another blast to Baldur's for clarification.
𝘚𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦!
The moment the ball landed, Baldur's frame flashed for a second.
Woody4 chuckled and wanted to shoot again, but saw his vision dividing into two and slowly tilting to the side.
"Sorry, Leavy 16!"
Woody said with a smile as his body fell to the ground with a divide in the center.
Baldur then nodded to the duo behind the rock, Chucker who was peeking from below, saw the signal took a deep breath while grabbing his dual dagger, and said to Jane,
"He has gotten their attention that's the cue for us to run towards the festival… Now!!"
He dashed out, and Jane too as she aimed her now to the ground, as she followed him at his back.
An elf saw the duo and smiled as it dropped the cannon and brought out two candy knives, it ran to them with its hand by its sides stationary.
"HA HA, HAHA!"
The gremlin manically laughed as it got close to them.
Chucker did not react as he dashed forward with his eyes emitting a silver wisp of flames. Jane saw this and aimed, but—Chucker was faster.
𝘚𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦!
Chucker flashed to the back of the elf in an instant, and Jane could barely catch his speed.
The upper body of the elf gradually fell to the ground with its face still embellished with the vicious smile.
Jane passed by the body while confused, but recovered fast and focused on the group that noticed their actions.
Chucker reacted quicker again, cutting their limbs instantly before they could even flinch.
Jane got the message and started aiming for further enemies.
The two started a straight-line massacre as they got closer to a gate made of candy and skittles.
The two cooperated in unholy teamwork as they danced through the battlefield and covered each other.
Baldur performed sneak attacks from the ground before digging back in, repeating these hit-and-run tactics and barely escaping each time.
He saw the duo's cooperation and nodded his head in approval, but he had to get quicker as an enormous snowball soared toward him.
𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒈!
Snowballs crossed the skies, forming a playful yet deadly atmosphere.
❄️
The duo soon came close to the gate, their caution not decreasing but increasing,
And they were right to be
The snow giant at the side woke up and stood up, trodding to them with heavy footsteps.
Jane drew three and aimed while Chucker prepared to jump while holding the daggers in reverse grip and the other in dagger grip.
He jumped, and the arrows flew past Chucker's head and hit the giant's eyes, and instinctively it swung the massive candy it held too early and missed by a few inches.
Chucker smiled as he appeared in front of the snow giant while releasing a few fingers and gripping the arrows to halt himself as he flipped to the neck of the construct.
Chucker wasted no time as he used the daggers to constantly stab at the neck and dig into its snowy figure.
"Die, Die , Die!"
He thought as he crazily stabbed in, getting closer to killing the creature with each attack.
"Rawrrrr!"
The creature trashed around, almost throwing Chucker off with each movement.
Jane saw the situation was going out of control and tried to think of anything that she could do at this point.
She looked around as the giant thrashed in the background and noticed a gold-white cannon with a trumpet mouth on the ground. She picked it up and aimed at the neck of the creature.
𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒈!
The blast took a handful of snow from its frame, and Jane continued.
𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘨!
𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘨!
The projectiles finally annoyed the Snow giant as it picked up its candle stick on the ground and walked menacingly toward Jane.
She had no fear on her face while blasting the giant, only stepping back occasionally.
The giant gritted its icicle teeth and raised its stick with a scream intending to smash the obstruction to paste.
𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙢!
Its massive headless body lay on the snow next to Jane, with Chucker standing where its head was supposed to be.
"You should have moved?" Chucker said, glancing at her, tucking the dagger to his sides.
"Something in there! I can't explain it but… a presence stopped me! A menacing one…"
Jane trailed off as she stared at the gate.
"Well, it's either it…or that." Chucker pointed far away at raging little creatures with candle spears that ran at them screaming.
"Wahhhhh!!!"
"Wahhhhhh!!"
"Wahhhhhh!!!"
Jane facepalmed and agreed, "What are you waiting for!? Let's go in."
They then walked past the gate, and their surroundings changed to a city of candies, colorful lights, and red leather.
"Disgusting!"
Jane said as she witnessed this.
"Agreed!"
They heard a voice from their sides and looked toward the source. It came from Baldur, covered with the guts and libs of his foes.
"When did you come in!?"
They both questioned, and Baldur chuckled.
"I dug in!"
"-__-"
"Anywho!" Baldur said before pointing to a castle that floated in the sky with a thousand candle ladders hanging down from it.
"That's…the goal."
"Of course it is…! So…! Disgusting!" Jane said, putting the bow at her back and trekking forward, and the father-son duo followed her at her back.
