(To those wondering this takes place more than 1,000 years before the time of beings like Zeref was born. so magic is different and much more powerful at this time, it will slowly drop as some magic was lost along the passage of time. Magic, although in its development, stages are actually when it's at its best as everyone is discovering new and interesting possibilities with magic. many people are also born with unique abilities, this is mostly because of their parents. two powerful people coming together and having a child greatly increase the chance of a child having a unique ability)

Sora and his group sat near while calmly looking around to make sure there was no danger.

"We are safe, I would say split up but there are too many unknowns," Sora said with crossed arms, everyone nodded slightly

"We should head towards the center, others will find the crystals for us and we will not have to do all the searching," Elize said which everyone but Sora nodded to

"such shameless tricks, I will not hide or wait in ambush for an enemy," Sora said calmly, Elize was annoyed this was the fastest way

"I don't care if it's the fastest way or whatever. i'm a knight, above everything else. I will not stand so low." Sora said calmly, Yuro's eyes brightened slightly as she looked at Sora.

"fine, but we should at least head towards the counter and defeat others we came across and take their crystals." She said to which Sora nodded,

"first, Yuro and Olivier collect some food from the river and some clean water, me and Elize will collect firewood," Sora said softly, Elize frowned slightly but she quickly realized Sora wanted to go. everyone got to work, while Sora and Olivier headed into the forest to collect wood.

"I want to change up our deal," Sora said calmly stunning Elize whose face instantly twisted

"you can't back out now. we have a deal, I become queen and you become the king to raise an empire to help in your task of defeating the gods. I spent 4 years learning not to stop, you can't just turn your back on me now." She said seriously, that day Sora first met her he began cooking up plans to secretly take over this kingdom using her.

Elize didn't mind, at the age of 5 she did look up to Sora and saw him as a cool older brother. as she grew, she began to realize how important the throne was. Sora gave her the offer, he will become her knight and defend her from anything which might harm her, and help her seat on the throne. under the condition, she promises to allow him to have control of the kingdom's power.

She didn't mind, she didn't even want to be queen. She didn't mind acting queen while Sora did all the work,

"I talking about the part about being a knight, should I be worried that your mind jumped to that part?" Sora asked with a frown, Elize froze slightly as she blushed

"you put it wrong I got worried... this is my life on the line after all." She said with an awkward laugh, Sora shook his head helplessly

"There will be times I might not be around to act like your knight. I could be locked in battle or someday lose my life, I promised to be your sword and shield. So I most think of events when i'm gone. I will not protect you from now on unless I need to, I taught you how to fight and some other stuff. but you need to be in a life or death battle to truly understand my teaching." Sora said seriously, Elize bit her lips slightly she was most scared of death

"I will not allow anyone to take your life, that I promise on my owner as a future knight. so long as I stand, so long as I breathe. I will see two if you're alive... do you trust me?" Sora asked calmly, Elize was stunned but she did trust Sora. He nodded slightly, to which Sora smiled

"and if they cut off your legs or something, worry not, I will carry you around," Sora said with a smile Elize's face turned pale

"Y-You wouldn't." She said, Sora just smiled as he went to collect the wood.

"Why didn't you just tell me this around Olivier? she is in on the deal right?" Elize asked in confusion,

"Yuro, that girl with the fox ears could hear thought. that reminds me." Sora said as he grabbed a piece of wood which slowly began transforming into a ruby red necklace, which he placed around her. Elize's face blushed slightly, but she suddenly calmed down as she found her mind clearing up

"This will protect your mind from others. I need you to be safe, I can protect the physique but the mind might be tricky." Sora said calmly, whatever Sora touched will become a high-grade weapon he could use. of course anything was a weapon, in Sora's hands anything like a straw to clothing was a weapon.

So he could turn anything he touched into anything he could think of, a necklace was just on such things. the armor, on the other hand, was created using this ability, but use turned his blood into the armor. thereby linking both him and the armor together.

"once I defeat the gods I will disappear, you know that. but before that, I will fill my job as a knight to the best of my capabilities." Sora said softly, Elize nodded slightly before they returned to the others who were catching fish,

after storing the food, the group headed off deeper into the forest. they quickly began running into many creatures within the forest, from snakes that released poison mist to slugs that could spit out powerful acid danger was everywhere. But Sora didn't dirty his hands with any of these, he pushed Elize right into danger, and she had to guild her combat expense.

"damn you Sora," Elize yelled in horror as her leg was grabbed by a huge plant master and was lifted into the sky. a mouth suddenly appeared from the ground as the plant monster dropped her.

"perform a double cast," Sora said calmly as watched this with crossed arms. a double cast was what it sounded like, it's when a mage cast more than one spell at once. this was not rare, B rank mages could cast up to 25 spells at the same time.

Elize held her hands out as she as a double-layered circle appeared before her. a flight spell along with a simple enchantment spell which boosted her spell, she flashed as she appeared next to Sora, Yoru, and Olivier who were watching.

"good, you want to try triple cast?" Sora asked calmly, Elize wanted to kick Sora flying, but her strength truly did improve by a great amount in the few days she had been in this forest. all the danger pushed her to become stronger.

Yuro suddenly pushed Sora's pants, Sora looked down in confusion. for the past few days, she has been glued on Sora, She didn't mind she was too adorable for him to be been to act tough around. Plus he knew what she was going through with her sharp hearing, being around someone like him was like a dream come true.

"Someone is coming." She said softly, Sora frowned as he couldn't sense anything heading their way. She pointed off towards the forest, Sora looked there along with Olivier and Elize.

Sora held his hand out and the planet monster instantly exploded when it tried to attack. a moment passed and soon Sora saw a black-haired man shooting toward the forest towards them. he was flying through the air, but unlike the normal light spell or something similar to get the effect of flight, he was truly flying through space.

the black-haired man landed in front of them with a slight frown, his silver eyes flashed and his frown grew as his eyes landed on Sora.

"this ability of yours to see all the parallel worlds out there is interesting. but you can't see me in another world, i'm one of a kind. a single being. So, Jiku. how would you like to become something like a follower of mine?" Sora said calmly as instantly understood Jiku's ability upon seeing it being used once,

"thats impossible, there is an infinite number of the world out there. even the don't transcend time." He said in shock, Sora shrugged slightly

"i'm a one of a kind, a person meant to slaughter them all, but I alone might not be enough for such a task. so, what do you think of following at my side?" Sora asked with a smile, Jiku's eyes narrowed slightly as he slowly pulled out a sword from his back

"a person like you goes against logic, the world order. you can't be allowed to exist." He said seriously, Sora smiled slightly as he stepped forward. He had Olivier and the others stepped back as he wanted to deal with this on his own

" a dual is what you wish. a dual is what you shall get." Sora said as he cracked his hands, Jiku's eyes narrowed as the sky was suddenly filled with countlessly magic circles of all colors surrounding Sora. Sora was stunned as he was suddenly hit with countless magic.

an explosion went off, a shock wave that destroyed a huge area of the forest spread out. this forest was as large as a huge city. Although the attack couldn't desotry the whole forest, around 40% of it just disappeared. the remaining forest still felt the impact of this attack as many trees were knocked over and flames began spearing, countless monsters while the students quickly got together to form barriers, barely surviving, but ended up using all of thier energy

Olivier was able to place up a barrier to block this shock wave, but her barrier almost broke. her eyes widened as she looked towards the huge smoke cloud, this was B's rank level of power. Although She knew Sora was not going to be injured by such a weak attack, this power was still shocking for a 10 to a 13-year-old kid.

"amazing, you reached 100 casting at such a young age," Sora said with a smile as he walked out of the dust clouds. Jiku's eyes widened as Sora didn't even have dust on him

"but thats a hundred and to be only capable of showing that much power. I'm disappointed." Sora said as he pointed a finger former, a red magic circle along with green magic appeared layered on top of each other

"I found a way to improve magic, by layering magic on top of each other. I can do something you did with just two spells. although I can only do this with 2 spells," Sora said calmy Jiku's eyes wide, as he saw a huge flaming ball strengthen with a wind spell heading his way

this flame was as large as a tree, he quickly flashed as he got out of the way and watched as everything in the path of that huge fireball was destroyed.

"wind enhances fire, but thats just a simple fireball spell. the easiest spell out all others to learn, you want to see what the effect will be if something like the raging dragon spell?" Sora said with a smile, as the fireball exploded releasing another shock wave. but this time the shock wave was burning hit, turning the land into a world that was dark black

"impossible, only S-rank mages could learn to do something so complex," Jiku said in shock and slight horror at what he was seeing.

"I have perfect masterly on my magic, not even S rank mages can compare," Sora said calmly

"so, do you want to follow me Sir Jiku? you can stop looking into other parallel worlds, you will damage your eyes to a level that can't be repaired." Sora said calmly as blood dripped from Jiku's eyes.

"Sora Skievidra, I refuse to bend a knew to a being like you." He said with a slightly twisted face, Sora's eyebrow raised slightly.

"your view on this world is mistaken, I understand why you think that way of my existence. but I was only born into this world to kill the gods, like myself the so-called god race is a race that shouldn't exist." Sora said calmly, Jiku was stunned slightly as heard this

"The gods are not real gods, you can call the half-gods or demigods. they bought an imbalance to this world, i'm simply a knight sent down by the gods the slayer all of them all. Sir Jiku. I understand my capability, although in a few hundreds of years or so I believe I alone could take on the whole race. thats too long, and I wish to be done with this task." Sora said calmly. Jiku's head almost exploded at what he was hearing

"i'm a man who has nothing to hide or no secrets, I want you to trust me and become my follower. so I will not lie to you, I will leave this world when i'm done. at which point you are free to do as you wish, so I ask of you once more... will you follow me?" Sora asked seriously. Jiku thought for some time before looking into Sora's eyes.

"Sora Skievidra, I sense to lies within your words. but you must understand why I can't simply believe you... for the great of mankind, I will follow at your side... but you must first defeat me. a simple dual." He said seriously, Sora nodded slightly. Jiku stepped forward and instantly appeared before Sora. he teleported before Sora and stabbed towards him

but his eyes instantly shrank as Sora had already moved to block his attack before he even teleported, it's like Sora knew to want he was planning before he himself thought of it.

the two clashes, Jiku eyes glowed with blue light, this time he wasn't trying to look into another parallel world,s but was looking into the future. He saw every move Sora was going to move to allow him to react and plan out for it

But to his horror, Sora's movement changed none stuff within the future he was seeing. He was sent flying with a fist, but he landed on all 4s as he suddenly floated up, the sword began splitting up as countless copies of it appeared all around Sora

"you produce numerous copies of their words in the air that all represent future possibilities of their orb's path... I used to be able to make magic which could do this." Sora said calmly as he easily dodged the rain of attack, before flashing before Jiku who was still trying to look into the future to find an opening or Sora's weakness. his eyes began bleeding, and before he knew it Sora's fist was in front of his face

"The future can't but change no matter what. but I have a unique skill set that allows me to do so. you trying to change the future only leads to what you changed happening faster or happening in another way shape or form." Sora said calmly as he removed a handkerchief and gave it to him

"as my new follower, do go around damaging your eyes. take care of yourself." Sora said softly, Jiku's silver eyes looked into Sora's eyes. He nodded slightly as he wiped the blood off his eyes,

Sora calmly turned around to look at Olivier and the others who were heading this way.

"let's get going, and find these crystals," Sora said calmly, Oliver suddenly pulled out a few crystals and threw one towards Sora

"with that shock waves, we got to find a few," Olivier said calmly as she looked at Jiku, she was not fearful of his ability. she believed in a few years or so, she could create a time base spell that could show the same type of ability she saw

"now, we group of 5 are a team, both friends and teammates," Sora said with a smile, Yuro was stunned as she shyly pointed at herself

"of course, unless you don't want to," Sora said with a smile, Yuro quickly shook her head.

"I want to go wherever you go." She said softly, although she couldn't hear Elize's thoughts, Sora was quiet. from his foot's steps, his heartbeat, the flow of his blood, and even his breathing. they were not loud. Sora smiled slightly before looking at Jiku who nodded as well

"elder brother, consider me as your sword which will not doll in your journey to slay the gods." He said with a slight bow, he was quite the smart one. mostly because he has been taking lessons from the elder visions of himself in other parallel worlds. although they can all spy on each other whenever there were a few who had mastered this ability and learned to comminate amongst each other.

"see yourself not as a sword but a friend, or a brother. it will be my pleasure to fight alongside you all... I guess since i'm the leader I should give the first order, which is to help lady Elize take the throne" Sora said with a smile
