A Lost Land

Fear spiked in her heart when Nesrin glanced at the man beside her. His hand was cold and he wore a dark hooded cloak. It was impossible to make out his appearance in the dark, but Nesrin knew he was not Izekiel.

There was something very odd about that man.

"Who are you?"

She asked with horrified eyes and tried to pull her hand back but he firmly held her.

"I won't harm you,"

He had a deep and low voice, a breathy sound with caused hair to rise on her neck. The man helped her get back on her feet, but he was far from considerate and almost caused her to stumble inside the abyss which was too close.

"Where is Izekiel?"

She pleaded to know. The whole temple was trembling and falling, her heart couldn't take it in. She had to find him and make sure he was safe.

"You will meet him soon," the man replied and leaned frighteningly close to her, "But make sure you never leave him."

Nesrin's fingers turned cold at his grim voice.
