Chapter 40 : Where we Go From Here
Hayden's POV
The meeting continued to drag on all throughout the evening. Alphas from different territories would tell us their stories about missing wolves and missing supplies from various instances which seemed to be raids.
"Is this not then just an internal issue?" one alpha asked. "It doesn't seem to me as though these raids are being found anywhere else besides your own pack."
The alpha who had spoken about the raids erupted into a fit of rage. "Are you suggesting that I am incapable of keeping the greedy hands of my pack members away from even the most basic of supplies?" he demanded.
The alpha who had suggested that, a younger looking one, shrugged his shoulders. "No, but you just did."
Before the older alpha could do anything to the younger one Rhett spoke up.
