Chapter 174: I Am The Monster
Eleonore’s POV
I knew I was dreaming the second it started.
It was like… I was forced inside out. Cleaved in half and yet so infinitely whole. I was staring at myself from outside of my own body. If I was myself, then who was it walking down the hallway of the pack house, barefoot and eyes like mine? I followed her.
There was something in her hands that kept making a sound–clank clank clank–I couldn’t see what it was but it was loud enough to hear. Her figure led me to the front of the house, and then she exited the door and turned left. I followed her until she came to the front of the wing of the house that the rogues were sleeping in.
The old structure was shocking to me, it was the same way it looked before it was burned down.
