I felt my nose crinkle on my face as I stared at Rhett’s actions.
“That’s actually disgusting,” Hayden said from beside me as his eyes followed his brother’s hands too.
“This is actually none of your business—”
‘No, he’s right,’ I agreed with Hayden. ‘That’s disgusting.’
Rhett slammed his hand down on the table as he pointed the butter knife at the two of us. “What’s disgusting is the way you two refuse to put butter on your bread and eat it when it is quite literally drier than the Sahara—seriously, how are you even swallowing it down right now?”
My eyes widened as I turned from Rhett to Hayden beside me, then back to Rhett, and then finally back to Hayden. “You think he’s mad?” Hayden asked me and I nodded my head.
‘He seems arguably affected by what we’ve just said,’ I said through the link.
