Currently, the most respected clans in Konoha, except for the Senju Clan had been informed that they must choose 2 members of their clan. These 2 members will join the members from the other clans and leave for Ame in a week.

The Uchiha Clan also received this information. However, instead of the promise of 2 members from the Uchiha Clan, they were asked to send 3 Members.

The elders of the Uchiha Clan were naturally surprised to hear this. For the Hokage to be showing such favour to the Uchiha Clan, it really was astounding. They felt that those tournaments against Senju Araki had really assisted them in raising their prestige enough for the Hokage to start showing special favour to them.

However, the current head of the Uchiha Clan, Uchiha Kazuma, thought differently. He was on a walk with his son around the Uchiha Compound, "Son, what do you think about this issue?" Uchiha Kazuma was naturally asking his son, Uchiha Keshiro, regarding the mission to go to Ame.

Uchiha Keshiro thought for some moments before he replied, "It does appear to be a tactic from the Hokage that shows that he favours the Uchiha Clan more than other clans. However, instead of an act of favour, it's more of an act of appeasement."

A sneer appeared on his face as he added, "Does he think we aren't aware of all he had done to destroy the Uchiha Clan's reputation? This is still far from sufficient. In fact, this is not worth mentioning."

Uchiha Kazuma agreed with Keshiro's thoughts and commented, "You are right about this. I don't know why the Hokage would suddenly show us such favour when his previous actions or policies were always against us. Maybe he is worried about the fact that the Uchiha Clan and the Senju Clan's relations have improved."

A serious glint appeared in Uchiha Kazuma's eyes as he said to Keshiro, "But, this is also a chance for us. No… Specifically speaking, it's an excellent chance for you. Keshiro obediently nodded his head. He was well aware that the teachings of his father were always good for him.

Upon seeing his son's face, a gentle smile appeared on Uchiha Kazuma's face. He patted his son's head and said, "If you do accomplish enough prestige there, I will give you a gift on your next birthday."

Uchiha Keshiro blushed as his father treated him like a little child. But he still didn't deny the gesture. It was rare for his father to do this, so he was quite happy.

After some time, he asked Uchiha Kazuma, "Who will be coming with me?"

"Hmm… I was thinking of sending Uchiha Shuji and Uchiha Akemi to accompany you. You are already friends with them. And, although they aren't that strong, they would assist you in terms of team coordination." Kazuma informed Keshiro about his companions.

When Keshiro found out that his companions would be his friends, he was naturally delighted, but he didn't show it on his face. Uchiha Shuji and Uchiha Akemi were the children of other clan elders of Uchiha Clan, and in his age group, these two could be said to be his only friends in the Uchiha Clan.

Although they weren't as strong as him, they should still be a match for Chunin. The two only had a single tomoe Sharingan, but Keshiro believed that this new experience would maybe allow them to reach the Three Tomoe level of Sharingan.
