Chapter 10

Elias was so happy when he knew about Robert Louis identity, the most exciting thing to him is to meet his relative because he thought that he would never meet one in his entire life. He explains to Robert Louis about how he shared blood with him, “my mother was sir Louis' half sister, and got married to Arthur of Elon where she had me” said Elias with an excited face.

Robert Louis, on the other hand, was so happy to meet Elisa because he had believed that he would never meet any of his relative's again. Both of them exchange greetings and have a family.

“We really have a lot to discuss,” said Elias with an embracing look. “Yes, that's right” Robert Louis replied with a smile on his face. After a few minutes, Elias lost in thought while going in a conservation with Robert Louis. “How could he survive all alone among others?” Elias began to soliloquize while he lost in thought, not knowing that he was speaking it out.

“Yes I survived!” Robert Louis replied with his eyes blinking. Immediately, Elias was shocked and came back to his senses. “Listen, I know that you are curious about my nation and willing to ask numerous questions concerning my survival. Don't worry I'll narrate everything to you today” said Robert.

“He continued, many rumours were spread concerning my nation, jingle nation. But the fact there was that we were ambushed and colonised by The scorpion nation, led by Sir Harold, came on suddenly and ambushed us in the castle. What a terrible and bloody day. Lord of the jingle nation, sir Louis led his citizens to gather at the castle to worship their gods with lamps in their hands as they walked in groups. It's another praying season of the year against war and slavery.

The citizens of jingle nation gathered in the castle and sat down on the floor, with sir Louis sitting at the front.

They placed their lamps by their side and placed their hands together in prayer with their eyes closed. In one accord they pray to their gods for protection, guidance, peace, and harmony.

It was barely half an hour into the prayer when a swoosh sound was heard from the castle door and boom everything clashed. All the houses on jingle nation were set ablaze. Screams and cries can be heard from every angle. The warriors of the scorpion nation which were led by Harold surrounded the cast while others went into the nation to capture the citizens. The citizens in the castle rose to their feet to see what was going on and where the sound came from. Sir Louis drew his sword out from its sheath in defence and ready for any attack. The women hugged their children to themselves, while the men drew their swords when they saw the Lord drew his sword. Sir Louis saw the warriors on horses in the dark, and asked the women and the children to step back while he went forward with the men to defend the castle.” Robert hadn't concluded until water started dropping on his face.

He continued, despite how terrible the day was, the gods never did anything. The gods are so wicked and shameless.

And only I could survive because I went hunting. And now those wicked gods were also sending me on a death mission to go to the scorpion nation and rescue my nation from slavery.” said Robert mallow with tears of blood in his face.

Elias couldn't control his emotions and asked Robert to stop immediately, especially when he started abusing the gods. “Please stop, the gods aren't blind and know what they are doing. According to your story, everyone in the jingle nation was enslaved by the scorpion nation except you, who left for hunting….. The gods know about this, and you were left alone to rescue your people and bring victory back home. This is your mission, and you must fulfil it” Elias nobbled.

Robert was so angry about what Elias said, and he started throwing words to him. “Ehenn, do you mean gods are right, after watching my father and all his nation perished all because they came to the castle to worship him. Moreover, he can't protect his people, and he is asking me now to go and save them all, alone. How could I do that? Robert said with anger.

Elias knows about Robert Louis' feelings,, so he couldn't blame him. Instead, he started hailing him, “Yes you can, you are powerful, you are a warrior, you are a legend, yes you can” said Elias.

Robert mallow stood up with anger and left the room, on getting out he saw other warriors coming along his side. Immediately, Robert Louis quickly went inside and took his sword. Elias, who was worried, quickly came outside to confirm what was happening.

Oh, it's you Darus why did you leave the boundary I told you not to. Darus, who knows that Elias was hiding someone, goes straight into his house and orders other soldiers to keep searching his house. Elias tried to convince them, but he couldn't.

When Robert Louis noticed that, he quickly escaped through the backyard and started running. Suddenly, Darus sighted him and notified other soldiers immediately. All the soldiers started running after Robert Luis.

"Stop there!," there voice echoed.
