When Cass decided they had seen enough, he halted his spell. With a wave of his hand, all the traitors were flung next to Magnus and Oberon, forced onto their knees.
Morgana struggled to rise but found herself immobilized. Despite her attempts to break free using her power, Cass's magic proved too potent. He descended the stairs, approaching her with a smile.
"It doesn't matter how tightly you sealed the hall or how much power you muster to escape. You won't succeed," Cass declared.
Morgana retorted with a yell, "Release me, or I'll end you!"
"You've already tried that, and failed," Cass reminded her.
Her heart raced, incredulous at Cass's strength. "You're Cass, the dog," she said stupified.
