CHAPTER 2

Lucresia's Point of View

Months after, I ran as SBO President and luckily, I won. I didn't expect this to happen. I feel the love and warm support of Scout Students...

"You're not suitable for that position!!!" kasalukuyan kaming nasa SBO Meeting nang biglang dumating si Margarette.

I sighed. She's a total war freak who didn't have any class at all.

"Sorry but Scout Students love me more than your friend" I said. Nanlaki ang mga mata niya.

"What did you say?"

"I said, nasa talampakan ko lang kayo" lalabas na sana ako sa SBO Office nang bigla niyang hatakin ang braso ko.

"Can you please, let go of me???" I shouted.

"I will talk to DIA. Akala mo hindi ko alam ang mga ginagawa mo?" Matapang niyang saad habang nakatingin saaking mga mata.

"Bakit ano bang ginawa ko?"

"You're abusing your power as a President. Tinatakot mo ang mga estudyante to follow you" She said and natawa ako sa sinabi niya.

"Oh c'mon hunny, it's not my fault. That's included to my responsibilities. And if hindi mo pa rin tanggap ang pagka-talo ng kaibigan mo, you may leave this school anytime you want!" I said at tinanggal ko ang kamay niya saaking braso.

"Good luck bish!" Pananakot niya. I raised my middle finger on her.

She can't scare me. She should be scared of my capabilities. This game is just like a chess. One wrong move will turn into a mistake and failure.

"LUCRESIAAA!!!" Narinig kong may tumawag sa pangalan ko. It's Jianna.

"What is it, dear?"

"I'm scared for you. Hayaan mo na kasi si Margarette" I looked on her face and she's totally afraid.

"Don't worry. I will teach her a lesson she will never forget" I said and I smirked.

Meanwhile

Natapos ang last class namin and it's time to do my revenge. Good luck to you, Margarette.

Nagpunta ako sa locker ng mga grade 12 students at hinanap ang locker ni Margarette. Our locker secured with a pin but I can open this.

Knowing Margarette, she's a total idiot. I know her since then so I tried guessing the pin of her locker.

"022202" and voila, it opened!

That is Joe's birthday. Siyempre ultimate crush niya si Joe and I know na kapag ultimate crush mo ang isang tao, birthday niya ang passcode mo sa phone. Am I right?

Nilagay ko na nag iba't-ibang uri ng substance sa kaniyang locker and I locked it.

Nagpunta ako sa Department of Internal Affairs to complain. This is exciting kiddos!

"Yes, Ms. Zamora?" Bati saakin ng Chief of DIA.

"How's your day chief?" I greeted.

"I'm alright. Can I do something for you?" He asked.

"I would like to a complain. I heard one of the students here are using drugs and other substance inside of this campus specifically, grade 12 students. I hope we can make an action" I said.

"Where did you hear that rumor?"

"Let's keep the complaint's identity confidential" I answered.

"So what you want to do?"

"As a President, I want to kick out from this school the people who will found a drugs on their lockers"

"That's severe! Would disciplinary actions aren't enough?" He asked. Tumayo ako at naglakad-lakad sa paligid ng room.

"So you want me to talk in media? You're not going to protect our school's name?" Pananakot ko dito. Since takot sila maligwak sa kanilang trabaho...

"Fine." He said.

"Okay. Administrator department will set a lockdown in this school. Good bye and thank you for your cooperation" I said and I left the room. Sorry, I am powerful...

Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko sa aking bag at tinawagan si Jianna and Arsin.

"Jianna? Arsin? Go to PAS ASAP!" I said and I hang the call. Nagpunta na ako sa PAS or Public Address System where we can make announcement in entire school.

Pagkapasok ko sa PAS room ay nakita ko na si Jianna and Arsin.

"What's happening?" Tanong ni Jianna.

"Make a lockdown. Set the school into a code blue" Utos ko sa kaniya.

"Whyyy?" Pagtatanong pa nito.

"JUST DO IT!" I shout. Dali-dali naman siyang nagsalita sa mic.

"This is Jianna Madriga, SBO Administrator. I'm using my power to lift the school into a code blue. Medical Alert. You may stay in your classes and do not go out without any announcement from us"

"What's happening Lucresia?" Nag-aalalang tanong ni Arsin.

"This is my revenge." I said.

"Does DIA knows about this?" She asked again.

"Well yeah. Don't worry because we are powerful" saad ko habang nakataas ang aking kilay. Lumapit ako sa mic upang mag-announce.

"This is Lucresia Aguairi Zamora, SBO President. I'm commanding the Health Team to open the lockers of all the students. Tech Department, open their locker and turn down the passcodes" Utos ko sa kanila. This is the benefits of being a President. Emergency Powers.

"Come on girls!" Niyaya ko sila at lumabas. Pumunta naman agad kami sa locker area.

"Grade 11 and 12 students, enter your classroom now!" I shouted at pumasok naman ang ibang mga estudyante. They're scared because of me.

Nanatiling nasa labas ang tropahan ni Margarette.

"you, you and you, get inside of your classroom or die?" Pananakot ko pero hindi nagpatinag ang mga ito.

"Can you please huwag kang magreyna-reynahan dito? wala ka pang napapatunayan" She said.

"How about you? Mayroon ka ba? I know mayroon ako pero hindi ko alam sa iyo kung mayroon ka" And I smiled at her ironically.

Nakita ko si Joe at tumingin ito saakin...

Nagsimula nang mag-inspect and Health Team ng mga lockers hanggang sa binuksan nila ang natitirang locker ng grade 12 students.

Nagulat si Margarette sa nakita niya.

"Wait that's not mineeee!!!" Sigaw nito.

"There are a lot of substance found in your locker. Go to Jurisdiction Room" Sabi ng isang Health Worker.

"but that's not mine! May naglagay lang niyan sa locker ko!" Sigaw nito. She looked at me at aatakihin na sana ako nito pero Joe stopped him.

"You motherf*cker! What a bitch!!!" Sigaw niya saakin.

"Hey. Don't blame me because of your vices. I'm doing my best to make the school clean" At ngumiting aso ako sa kaniya.

"You framed me!!!" She shouted again.

"Who are you for me to waste my time. Admit your fault kiddo!" Tumalikod na ako at nagtungo na sa aming building.

As I said, don't mess up with me. I can do whatever I want.

Since tapos na ang mga classes, we decided to go home. Margarette's still in Jurisdiction Room where she will be interrogated by the head of school and they will make legal actions.

"Lu! Margarette have been kicked out from the school!" Balita saakin ni Isabella.

"It's okay. She gets what she deserves" Sabi ko. Matagal nang may galit saakin si Margarette and I still don't have any idea why? Because my family is richer than hers? Or because I'm popular, beautiful with intelligence? Or because of Joe?

"I'm gonna go home. See yah tomorrow girls!" Paalam ko sa kanila and I left them.

Nakita ko si Joe sa may parking na nag-aantay na saakin.

"Are you okay babe?" He asked.

"I'm just tired" I answered.

Sumakay na kami sa kotse at nagsimula na siyang mag-drive.

"That's more than enough, Lucresia" panimula niya. Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako.

"Don't abuse your power okay?" He added.

"I'm not abusing my power. I showed her what she deserves" I answered.

"But that's injustice. She has been kicked out from the school"

"So are you concern about her?" at nag-iba ang tono ng boses ko.

"No. of course, I'm not" he answered.

"Eh bakit ka nag-aalala sa kaniya kung hindi ka concern?" Tumaas na ang boses ko sa pagkakataong ito. Nakaka-inis.

"Hindi ako nag-aalala sa kaniya. Grabe na kasi 'yang mga ginagawa mo" He said.

"so concern ka nga?

"Oo na concern na ako sa kaniya pero hindi ibig sabihin non may pagtingin ako sa kaniya." Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya.

"I'm just tired of our relationship" Tumigil sa isang tabi si Joe.

"Kung napapagod ka na edi mag-break na lang tayo!" I shouted.

"NO! Even I feel tired, I'm trying my best to understand you. Pero sumosobra kana sa limitations mo. Kinain ka na ng power mo!" I slapped him kaya natigilan siya.

"You have no idea what I've been through so don't tell me that" bumaba ako sa car at pumara ng cab.

"LUCRESIAAA!" he shouted pero umandar na ito.

The next day...

Katatapos ko lang mag-ayos dahil grabe ang iniyak ko kagabi. Medyo nasakan ako sa sinabi ni Joe. I didn't talk to him all night but he still sending me a message.

"Yaya si manong?"

"Wait lang po Ma'am Lucresia. Hinatid pa po ang dad niyo eh"

"Okay I'll wait him in the living room." I said at lumabas na ako ng kwarto. Naglilinis ang maid sa aking magulong kwarto at nag-request ako na palitan lahat ng bed sheets and comforter.

Bumaba na ako papuntang lving room at nakita ko ang sumalubong saakin. Si Joe, naka-upo sa may sofa.

"Good Morning" naka-ngiting bati niya.

"What are you doing here?" cold na tanong ko sa kaniya. Kailangan muna niyang makita na galit ako para naman suyuin ako nito.

"I'm here to apologize of what I've said yesterday. I didn't mean it. I'm just stressed" He said and he kissed my forehead. It made me smile.

"So this is my peace offering" inabot niya saakin ang isang tupperware na punong-puno ng brownies.

"I baked that!" He added. Napaka-sweet ng gagong 'to pakshet!!!

"AARRGGH! THAT'S WHY I CAN'T RESIST YOU! YOU'RE SUCH A SWEET BOYFRIEND! YOU'RE FORGIVEN!" I said while smiling at him.

"Go taste it!"

"You're ruining my diet! Nakaka-inis!" binuksan ko na ang tupperware at tinikman ang isang brownies. Shet! Ang sarap!

"You're a good baker talaga! Bakit ayaw mo nalang maging panaderyo? Tigil ka na sa pag-aaral tapos magtayo na lang tayo ng bakery!" Natatawang saad ko.

"That is good idea! But I have more plans for us! Hindi lang bakery kundi cafeteria ang gusto kong i-business!" Sabi niya. Enebe! Plans for us daw? Kasalan na ba sunod ng graduation???

"Tapos ikaw lagi ang taga-taste test" He added.

"Papatabain mo naman ako eh!" sabi ko habang patuloy kumakain ng brownies.

"I love you no matter what how size you are!" He said and he kissed me on my lips. I love him so much talaga!!!
