Two figures came crashing through the rust colored cloud and decimated it entirely into scattered tufts of vapor.
One, a featherless beast the size of a seven story building, and the other, a human comparably the size of an ant.
As stark as the difference in size was, came the difference in their states.
The beast, having lost one of its heads, was wailing in severe pain as the limp neck fluttered with the air. Fallen from the grace of the sky, its body tumbled and swayed with the ravaging currents of the air as if it never once sailed the streams of the cloudy blue.
The human on the other hand, looked mostly fine, only a few scratches and bruises marred his darkened skin. The crumbs of a broken staff falling beside him were evidence enough of what took place beyond the cloudy veil.
“Come here!” Elias swam in the air to reach his prey, refusing to allow it a second to recuperate.
“I-I can take it, Eilas!” Jonas aimed at the vulnerable beast.
