Both Mei Wei and Aman stood in the room, hugging each other quite a bit. The tears were still stuck in Aman's eyes like crystals. Mei Wei inhaled a deep breath, and the scent of Aman entered his nostrils. The scent of sandalwood.
Aman whispered, "My prince, I can't believe you have forgiven me." They both separated.
Mei Wei looked at Aman's face in astonishment and smiled. "Yes, I have forgiven you because I have felt how it feels to lose someone. How it feels when they are brutally snatched by you and you can't do anything. I know how it feels when those murderers are roaming freely, but your life has been ruined."
Aman was still not sure. "But I feel unworthy of your concern. I deceived you, but you always cared for me and protected me. I lied to my most loyal friend. I feel like a scum!"
