The Nine Tails Attack

<Konoha Hospital>

Infront of a room, two men and a 15 year old boy were pacing around. The two men were Hiruzen Sarutobi and Isamu Sarutobi, while the young boy was Asuma Sarutobi. Today Isamu's wife is giving birth inside the room.

After a moment a baby's cry was heard which stopped all three of their movements infront of the door.

The door opened and out came a nurse who happily said: " Congratulations Hokage-sama and Isamu-sama, it's a boy."

Isamu immediately said: "Thank you for the hard work. Can we enter?"

The nurse happily replied before leaving: "Yes, Biwako-sama is still inside with your wife and the baby."

Isamu, Hiruzen and and Asuma immediately entered the room where a woman was lying on bed with a baby in her hands. Next to the woman was an old woman named Biwako Sarutobi, the wife of Hiruzen.

Isamu went to his wife and raised his hand, signifying his wish to hold his son. The woman, Hina Sarutobi, gave the sleeping baby to Isamu who held the baby with a big smile on his face. Asuma also looked at the baby with expectations afterall he is a 15-year old who is now an uncle. Anyone would feel some expectations.

Hiruzen asked his son and daughter-in-law: "What is his name?"

Isamu looked at Hina who replied: "We named him Kenichi, Kenichi Sarutobi."

Hiruzen thought for a moment before commenting: "Kenichi, huh. It's a good name."

Biwako, who knew what her husband was thinking replied back to him: "Indeed! A name that signifies the wish and expectations of his mother."

The family happily looked at the baby with great expectations for the future.

Thus, on the night of 23rd February 119, the second son of Hiruzen Sarutobi, Isamu Sarutobi and his wife, Hina Sarutobi, gave birth to a child. The child was named Kenichi Sarutobi, Kenichi meaning strong, in hopes that he will grow up to be a strong man.

The birth of this child brought great joy and celebration in the Sarutobi clan, as Kenichi was the first grandson of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Clan Head of the Sarutobi clan and the leader of the Village Hidden in the Leaf, Hokage.

For the next 8 months, Isamu and Hina took care of Kenichi and raised him. Everything was great and amazing until 10th October 119, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's Attack.

Just before 9-Tails was summoned, Hina Sarutobi and Isamu Sarutobi were both at home with Kenichi when Kenichi, who was sleeping, suddenly woke up and started crying. Hina and Isamu were confused since Kenichi is a quite baby when suddenly a huge smoke appeared.

Once the smoke disappeared the 9-Tails could be seen destroying every building around it.

Isamu looked at the 9-Tails from his window with shock: "It escaped? Hina take Kenichi and get out of here. Go to the safety bunker I showed you before."

Hina looked at Isamu: "What about you?"

Isamu while putting on his Jonin attire said: "I'll need to help. Hurry up and leave."

Hina hurriedly took Kenichi and said: "Stay safe"

Isamu quickly left towards the 9-Tails to assist his father since he knew Hiruzen would be there to stop the 9-Tails.

Hina meanwhile ran towards the shelter safely as she was Elite Jonin level herself. Once she entered the shelter, she tried calming Kenichi who slowly stopped crying before falling asleep once again. At the same time she continued to pray for Isamu's safety.

Meanwhile, Isamu had already reached his father's location who was near the 9-Tails.

Isamu looked at his father: "Father, how do we deal with the 9-Tails?"

Hiruzen continued looking at the 9-Tails before saying: "We need to hold our ground before Minato arrives. But before that..."

Hiruzen who had a staff in his hand expanded it and pushed the 9-Tails until it was pushed outside of Konoha Village. This staff was naturally Hiruzen's summon Monkey King: Enma which can turn into a staff.

Isamu, Hiruzen and many other Elite Jonins tried to hold on long enough for Minato to arrive and eliminate the threat which was successful.

Minato, the 4th Hokage, returned to the village in time to stop the 9-Tails by summoning Gamabunta, a Toad Summon, above it, having Gamabunta keep the Nine-Tails restrained while he gathered the chakra to teleport it away.

Isamu, Hiruzen and a few anbu reached the location Minato teleported to alongside the 9-Tails but could not enter the area. Kushina, Minato's wife, retrained it and cut off access to the area with her Adamantine Sealing Chains while she and Minato decided what to do with it.

Already dying from her earlier ordeal of the 9-Tails stripped from inside her, Kushina offered to have the Nine-Tails sealed back in her once again so that it would die with her.

Believing the Nine-Tails' power would be needed in the future to face Tobi, Minato rejected this idea, deciding instead to seal the Nine-Tails into his twin children using the Eight Trigrams Seal.

Because the Nine-Tails was too powerful to contain within the body of an infant, Minato decide to use the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to cut its chakra in half, the yang part in the boy and yin part in the girl.

When it realized what they were planning, the Nine-Tails tried to kill the twins, forcing Minato and Kushina to use their own bodies to shield them. While Kushina had some final words with them, Minato gave the keys to the seals he was about to use to Gerotora, another toad summon, and then sent him to Jiraiya, a Legendary Sanin and his teacher.

Minato didn't have the time necessary to tell Hiruzen what had happened, choosing instead to make a request of Konoha's villagers via Hiruzen: to regard the twins as heroes for helping save the village and not to hate them for containing the monster that had killed so many.

With that, Minato sealed the Nine-Tails into the twins, adding his and Kushina's chakra to both seals so that they could watch them grow up and someday help them gain control of the Nine-Tails.

While Hiruzen brought back the twins to the village and share Minato's wish with the survivors, Isamu went towards the shelter to check on his wife and son.

Hina who saw Isamu rushed towards him with Kenichi in her hands: "Isamu, is it over?"

Isamu replied with relief: "Yeah it's over but it will take long to recover from this. While I was coming here I saw our house was destroyed so we will stay in father's house for now."

Hina replied with an affirmative gesture before placing all her attention back at her son who was awake and looking around.

This was the end of the 9-Tails Incident that will be remembered for many years to come.
