Trouble....

No not a nightmare , but something bothering me.

Yiheng's eyes softened, filled with genuine concern. He reached out and gently placed a hand on her shoulder, offering her comfort and support.

"I understand, Ai Yu. Sometimes, the things that trouble us the most are not easily defined or resolved. But please know, you're not alone ,ok?

Ai Yu felt an overwhelming sense of relief wash over her as Yiheng's words reassured her troubled mind. His unfaltering kindness and empathy always had a way of making others feel valued and seen.

"You have this incredible ability to be effortlessly kind ", Ai Yu whispered, speaking more to herself than to Yiheng.

"You possess a gift for understanding and comforting others. How do you do it?"she spoke out.

Yiheng smiled gently, his eyes lit up with sincerity.

As she sipped on her coffee, Aiyu couldn't help but wonder , gazing at him .

Yiheng can i ever become an exception to your kindness ? I have always longed for you to treat me differently, to see me as someone special.

She yearned for a connection that went beyond the superficial interactions he had with others , fantasizing about what it would be like to be truly noticed and cherished by him .

Breaking the silence, he spoke up,

"Aiyu, when the sun rises, it's the most beautiful moment to share with someone who means a lot to you, don't you think?"

Aiyu nodded, but couldn't help but point out, "But the sun has already been up for an hour now..."

Xiao Yiheng let out an uncomfortable laugh.

"Haha, true. But isn't the view still beautiful?"

Aiyu sipped her coffee, her own thoughts weighing heavily on her. Indeed, the view was beautiful, but she couldn't shake off the feeling of longing for something more .

Lin Siyu suddenly appeared from behind, calling out, "Aiyu! Aiyu!" Aiyu and Yiheng turned around, puzzled by Lin Siyu's breathlessness.
