Kai and Rachel accompanied by their teacher left the environment of the Sacred Artificer Department. The excitement of the experience still hung in the air as they made their way through the hallways of the school.

Their teacher spoke up a smile gracing his face. "Are you both enjoying the tour up until now?"

Kai and Rachel exchanged delighted looks before responding, their enthusiasm palpable. "Yes, sir, we're loving it."

Their teacher's expression softened, a mixture of relief and joy coursing through him. "That's great to hear."

With determination, in his voice, he went on "Now let's move forward towards to our last destination—the Divyakar Department."

Anticipation swelled within them as they walked, curiosity piqued. Kai couldn't resist his inquisitiveness any longer. "Sir, can you tell us more about the teacher in charge of the Divyakar Department?"

Their teacher's lips quirked into a knowing smile. "Ah, that's something you'll find out soon enough."

As they approached the entrance to the Divyakar Department, their teacher's voice carried a note of caution. "Be prepared, both of you. The teacher you'll meet there is quite unique."

Intrigue mingled with apprehension, and Kai and Rachel exchanged uncertain glances. "Why do we need to be careful, sir?" they inquired in unison.

The Divyakar Department's doors swung open. A blast of heat greeted them instantly.

They could feel the shift, in the atmosphere with the air buzzing with energy.

As they stepped inside beads of sweat started forming on their foreheads experiencing the rush of warmth, against their skin.

Before they could fully adjust, they were engulfed in a strong embrace from behind. Startled and taken aback, both Kai and Rachel found themselves ensnared by powerful arms.

"Hello there, you two!" a cheerful voice greeted them.

Surprised and slightly disoriented, they struggled within the grasp for a moment before realizing who it was.

As they turned, they were met with the sight of a young woman with rose gold and lavender hair adorned with delicate crystals.

Her eyes shimmered like iridescent teal oceans. She wore the attire of a smith—short-sleeved leather tunic, trousers, and accessories that hinted at her craft.

Rachel's voice quivered with a mix of disbelief and excitement. "Who are you?"

Their teacher's amused chuckle reached their ears. "Alice Sensei, you and your surprise entrances."

The grip around them loosened as the young woman, now identified as Alice, let out a playful sigh. "You're no fun."

As the shock subsided Kai and Rachel exchanged glances filled with a blend of surprise and confusion. In that moment they finally saw the face standing in front of them.

Kai's voice carried a hint of confusion. "Teacher, who is she?"

Their teacher's eyes held a hint of amusement. "Allow me to introduce Master Alice, a Rank 6 Ethereal Artisan, the highest attainable rank in the Divyakar profession."

Alice stood there, a mixture of pride and embarrassment coloring her features. Their teacher continued, "It's hard to believe..."

Alice interjected, a playful grin on her lips. "What's that supposed to mean, huh?"

Their teacher's tone carried a touch of exasperation. "Let's save that discussion for another time."

Their teacher's voice drew nearer, concern evident in his tone. "Are both of you alright?"

Kai and Rachel exchanged smiles before responding. "Yeah, we're fine."

Their teacher's gaze held a mix of regret and understanding. "I should have warned you about Alice's tendencies. She tends to get carried away."

As realization dawned on them, Kai and Rachel exchanged a knowing glance. "So that's why," they thought in unison.

Their teacher turned to Alice. "Alice Sensei, why don't you take over from here? Give them a tour."

Alice's confident smile returned, determination shining in her eyes. "Of course, leave it to me."
