Chapter 2: The Secret Room

As I placed my left palm on the ground floor, a white light line emerged from my Knight Bracelet.

Those white light lines spread on the floor and shaped the Dungeon map.

Mister Agung and some senior Knights give their full attention to reading my drawing Dungeon map.

"Rezvan, where is the Dungeon boss's location?"

Mister Agung ask hurriedly.

It is rare for Knights to eliminate the Dungeon boss first because they often hunt other Monsters to collect Diamonds.

Since all the Raid team members agreed to search for the 'secret treasure,' we decided to eliminate the Dungeon boss first.

We don't want Monsters to disturb us in the middle of searching.

"In the North, sir…."

I pointed out the north end part of the Dungeon Map.

It is the second largest area comparing other areas in the Dungeon map.

In Dungeon Rank E, it is pretty simple to detect the Dungeon boss's location from Dungeon Map.

We just need to focus on the largest area of the Dungeon map because the Monster boss usually stays there.

One strange thing I noticed based on the Dungeon map is the first largest area, located in the east, is locked.

Even though I have not yet told other Knights about this, Mister Agung seems aware of this because he also sees the locked area in the Dungeon map.

"All right, everyone! Time to hunt!"

Mister Agung shouted out loudly.

At the same time, his blue Knight Bracelet shone brightly and created Knight Armour that protected his body and head and a long silver sword on his right hand.

He is a well-known Knight Invader.

Like Mister Agung, other Knight Invaders have similar Knight Armour and Weapon as they activate their Knight Bracelet.

But I can feel the sharpness of Mister Agung's silver sword is better than other Knight Invaders.

It is reasonable because Mister Agung is a Rank C Knight, the highest rank Knight in our Raid Team.

When I look at Farhan, the yellow light of his Knight Bracelet forms full Armour on his body and Shield and sword in his hand.

As a Knight Tanker, his Armour has a more vigorous defense than Knight Invaders and Knight Healers.

As I stare briefly at Nadia, the yellow light of her Knight Bracelet forms casual Armour and a magical brown rod.

Seems like simple Armour and weapon, but it is useful for Knight Healer to support and save both Knight Invader and Knight Tanker in battle later.

I can feel the enormous spirit of all Knights who prepared to fight the Monsters after Knight Armour and Weapons formed in each of their body.

I know I look lame because my Knight Bracelet only forms a casual silver bow and thin Armour.

I'm the weakest Knight, but I want to participate in the fight to gain more Diamonds.

"Rezvan, just stay here and wait after we finished kill all the Monsters."

Mister Agung suddenly halted me after we arrived in front of the second-largest area of the Dungeon.

"…but, sir, I also can help with my bow and-"

"No need. Don't worry about the Diamond share. You will get a lot from the secret room. Save your energy."

"Y-yes, sir…"

I lost word.

Maybe next time, I should ask my proportion rate of Diamond larger by showing them the Dungeon Map instead of helping them defeat the Monsters.

"The hell does Rezvan want to do with his useless bow? It just tickles the Monsters!"

"Yeah, if he does that, he is not only the Weakest Knight but also the Troublesome Knight."

"I'm glad Mister Agung forbid him. My job as Knight Healer will be easier if he is not involved in the battle."

I can hear all these mocking voices even though they only whispered them.

Only Farhan and Nadia stay silent about it, even though I feel they feel the same deep inside their heart.

Oh geez, whatever.

Thinking about that only makes my heart hurt.

I just hope this Raid finishes quickly and I get my money.

On the northern end, looking from far away, I can see around 20 Goblins walking around the area.

These short and long noses green Goblins sized like a child, but they are very dangerously fast with their knife.

Another monster besides the Goblins is beast wolves.

These damn silver-fur wolves are wild and fierce.

Most of the time, they aim Knight's neck for an instant kill.

Suddenly, everyone becomes silent.

Looking at each Knight's intense looks, I can feel they are already prepared to kill the Goblins and Wolves.

Mister Agung grins while walking cautiously without sound to the area.

Then, one second after the last step, he dashes and cleaves one of Goblin and Wolf's heads with a single vertical slash.

"KILL THEM!"

"YEAH!"

Mister Agung and all Knight move forward without fear.

The Goblin's slashes and the wolf's bites fail to counter their ambush. It took less than an hour to eliminate all the goblins and wolves.

Blood spread beneath the Goblin's and Wolves' corpses.

Every Knight dug those Monster corpses to collect the sparkling Diamonds for money.

"Rezvan, come here."

One of the Knights calls me. I hurriedly come closer because I know he will spare me some Diamonds.

"Here, for you."

I quickly catch a quarter handful of the Diamond from the Knight.

Unfortunately, this small part of the Diamond is only worth around U$100, which is only enough for two-to-three-day food for my sisters.

"Th-thanks…"

I reply half-heartedly.

These small proportions always make me question my life as a Weakest Knight.

On the other hand, Mister Agung not bothering himself to collect the Diamonds.

Instead, he looks around the area, maybe making sure no monsters are left.

And then Mister Agung looks at me.

I can feel his valiant from his smiling face as he walks towards me.

"Our hunting is already done, Rezvan. Now it's time for the real treasure!"

"Do you mean the secret treasure, sir?"

Mister Agung nods.

"Let's look at the Dungeon Map again."

I quickly kneel and place my left palm on the floor.

The white light from my Knight Bracelet shone brightly and formed the line of Dungeon Map.

Mister Agung and I see there are five areas in this Dungeon. We are currently in the North end area.

"There is one suspicious area in this Dungeon. Do you realize it, Rezvan?"

I hold my answer for a second. Does Mister Agung mean the locked area in this Dungeon?

"This locked area, sir?"

I pointed out the east area in the Dungeon Map. Mister Agung grins.

"Good… let's deepen our observation, shall we? You can detect Diamond's location from this map, right?"

I paused and strengthened my concentration.

The white light in the east area of Dungeon Map slowly twinkles rapidly, which means there are plenty of Diamonds in that area.

Mister Agung laughs, satisfied.

"Ha, I know it! The sign shows the truth! So prepare yourself for becoming rich, Rezvan!"

"Y-yes, sir…"

I've never seen Mister Agung become this excited.

He also tells other Knights to fasten the Diamond collection, so they can proceed to the east area of this Dungeon.

Compared with other Knights, I'm probably the only Knight still questioning the secret area of this Dungeon.

Even though there are Diamonds in there, isn't locked?

After we arrived in the east area, the gigantic and thick stone wall halted our way.

There are large sculptures of Monster words on the wall.

Looking at a glance, I feel this stone wall can't be destroyed by Knight Weapons.

"So…we reach the main event! You know, Rezvan? I had gone there with my previous Raid Team, but we failed to break this wall. Back then, we had A-rank and B-rank Knights, but their weapons were not strong enough. I even heard an S-rank Knight can't wreck this shit! What a joke, right?"

Just as I expected.

"But I am still curious about this secret area! I know another way to open it and collect those mountains of Diamonds!"

Mister Agung put his right palm on my right shoulder.

"How about we read the sculptures on these stone walls? I think that's the key…."

Now I understand why Mister Agung wants me to participate in this Raid.

I have a skill for reading Monster words. However, I don't expect it to work in this way.

"Let me try it, sir. Hope it works."

I walk back a few steps to read the entire sculpture on those walls.

"Time always ticking

Everyone put a bet on the rounds of Time

Suddenly green lights emerge strongly from the stone wall.

Every Knight quickly takes a step back and prepares themselves while simultaneously becoming speechless when the stone wall opens itself.

I can hear every Knights shout their excitement, especially Mister Agung, who screaming his joy loudly for welcoming the opened path toward the mountainous of Diamonds in the secret area of this Dungeon.

"Let's go, guys! Our Diamonds waiting!"

Mister Agung orders every Knight to run to the east area behind the stone wall. I walk slowly, following them from behind.

I am trying to understand why I can't feel the same as other Knights.

All I see beneath the opened stone wall is darkness and a mysterious gaze hiding under the shadow.

I hope it's just my dumb imagination.
